Good News Everyone!
Over the past half year I've on and off posted about a Mysterious Medical Condition that was seriously affecting my vision and energy levels. I went to a total of seven different specialists over the course of this mystery disease journey, had a spinal tap, and did more blood work than I ever care to do again. The blood work in particular was becoming my least favorite because the second to last time I almost passed out, and last time I just flat out hit the deck. This was unusual as I've given blood my whole life and had never succumbed to this. Luckily that last test was totally worth konking out over because they finally figured out what's wrong with me: I have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever A.K.A. Lyme Disease. So, a few notes:
-No it's not contagious, you won't have gotten it from shaking my hand at AC or anything like that. You get it from tick bites and I am, luckily, not a tick and I don't suck people's blood.
-It accounts for all of my weird problems over the last six months and possibly some from even before this. It can lay dormant for years or just advance slowly. I have it in the latter stages.
-It's completely treatable via antibiotics. I have to take some pills for a month and *poof* it should be gone.
Is that everything? I think so! So yeah, I should get better, productivity should increase, and (unrelated) "False Start" comes back at the end of this week.
Yippee!

Correction! Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Lyme disease are two different diseases! I had/have both.

Second: Holy balls! Glad it's being taken care of. Hope it gets knocked out soon. :)
And yeah, glad you finally got it figured out.
I had a friend who saw a doctor several times with really bad symptoms. Doctor told him it was all in his head (I about flipped my lid). It wasnt until he got home that they FINALLY diagnosed it as a problem with his gall bladder, and by that point he'd lost a dangerous amount of weight.
Anyway, I digress. Take care of yourself. :)
...and not much else to say. I'm one of your near invisible +watchers. Not like we talk or anything outside these distant and elusive comments. You're just a good artist who I can now mark off the "Wish he wasn't dieing" list... because that was the general assumption before, not that I want you to die or something.
...you know what, I should probably stop while my foot is only touching the back of my throat.
Anyways, I'm really glad to hear you will be recovering! Just make sure to stay away from anymore ticks!
You are the most awesome though. Anywho, congrats on you going to be ok! *throws confetti*
Meh, doesn't matter, the good thing is... it's curable. Awesome news to hear.
I once knew a person who everybody thought had schizophrenia, but it turns out that he had Lyme Disease... It was strange that it could be something so simple and treatable that made him hear and respond to voices that weren't actually there. It was really intense, too...
Anyway. That anecdote was probably not necessary. But anyway, yeah. That's good to hear that it's so fix-able.
On a side note (coz I'm a medical nerd): Rocky Mountain Spotted fever and Lyme disease are actually two different diseases caused by two different bacteria (caused by Rickettsia rickettsii, and Borrelia burgdorferi[i], respectively). Both are transmitted by ticks in genus Ixodes, and both are treatable with antibiotics. ...just make sure you take the antibiotics exactly as directed and finish the whole prescription to avoid development of resistant bacterial disease!
Get well soon!
Best of luck with that and getting back into the swing of things.

It is possible to spread Lyme Disease via sexual intercourse. Keep it wrapped!
"Sexual transmission of the spirochete is not known to occur."
