>C: Admit to the Council that you can do magic

Maybe it was the alcohol talking, but you figure that now might be the best time to reveal your unusual magical abilities. Mustering up what ever courage you can, you turn to your Father and brace yourself for the confession.

"Excuse me, but I think there is something that I should tell everybody here." Thankfully the Darkwater was starting to wear off, enough that you weren't slurring your words.

"Yes, child, what is it?" Your mother seemed to always take an extra interest when ever you spoke up, as shown in her immediate response.

"I'm, uh... able to make fire."

You weren't sure how else to say it, so that was that until some of the Felinid leaders looked at each other in confusion. A few even whispered among themselves until Hoka spoke out.

"What, exactly, do you mean? Anyone can take a stick to a lamp and make fire." His expression is one of curiosity- he can tell that you meant something else.

"I mean that I can make fire like those Canids that attacked yesterday. I don't need a stick to do it." For the sake of demonstration, you hold out your paw and concentrate. It takes less effort than it has the last few times, and the alien sensation of warm sparks running up the fur of your arm begins to feel more familiar now that you've done it a few times. With a small flash of light, the lapping flames of a fireball are floating just above your palm. It is enough to quickly stop the whispering and mumbling of the Council, as well as grab the attention of every Hunter in the hall.

"How are you doing that?" Your Father actually looked very concerned for once.

"I'm not really sure yet, but I've been trying to find out."

Nothing much else was done other than a quick set of questions from each of the Council members, either you already knew the answers or you didn't. By the time it was done, you and everyone else had been ordered to leave for an emergency meeting similar to the one a couple of days ago, where every Hunter was simply excluded from any part of it. The idea still worried you, but at least some of your stress is alleviated by the fact that the alcohol in your system was finally wearing off.
