So what realistically makes you hope things will improve, in the next few years?

For me, personally?
I'll graduate and hopefully find a good place to settle down for a few years. My art will continue to improve and I will continue to learn about the world. I'd like to hope that in a few years I'll be more emotionally settled than now, if my current track record of improvement continues.

For the world, though... Hm.

I have hope in the next generation being far more accepting of womens rights and gay equality. This last little tirade of old politicians spewing bullshit happened right before segregation was abolished. It's just the last hurrah of a dying subspecies of man.
I have hope in technology, which continues to amaze me.
I have hope in the internet becoming a useful tool for education around the globe as technology becomes cheaper and cheaper.
I have hope in conservation, and the fact that some people still really do love and care for this earth.

If nothing else, I have hope that no matter what we do to the planet, she will recover over time; just without us. ;D

What was your motivation for drawing Kiss The Rain?

The song that plays in the cover page is Kiss the Rain by Yiruma. I heard that and just had a story idea I ran with. It was originally intended to be an unfinished 24 hour comic challenge, but I bit the bullet and did too much. XD

WHY IS IT SO AWESOME AND SO EMOTIONAL AND SO FULL OF FEELS

Because I'm highly empathetic and come up with storylines that move me.
The basic core of storytelling of any sort, be it written or drawn or played; make the story that touches you. c:

1. My top turn-ons are intelligence, maturity, and signs of mutual interest. I don't really get turned on if someone's not interested in me.
I suppose as far as physical turn-ons go, like things that make me purr.... Sexy accents, controlled movement and poise (usually with confidence) and delicate fingers. XD

Are you a farter or a burper ?

I can belch like there's a demon in my belly from another dimension.
I've been told it's quite startling.

I've noticed most of my friends belch but only a few have the farts.

What's you life's end goal/what impact do you want to make in your lifetime?

I want to own a large area of land where I can set up a private practice therapy office, gearing mostly toward PTSD, domestic violence and gender identity disorder. I'd also incorporate animals into the therapy, allowing them to be used to lower stress levels (studies have shown that animal comfort (petting, nuzzling, that sorta thing) dramatically decrease stress) throughout their therapy. If someone bonds to their animal and passes financial requirements, they may adopt them. c:
So, therapy + foster home/rescue!
And somewhere along the way I also want to be a teacher and make an impact by encouraging education. :D
wouldn't hurt to do my 'masterpiece' in art eventually, whatever it is I master.

That is quite honorable, not to mention a serious investment. It's great that you already have your plan so thought out. I don't think there's anything more therapeutic than the love of an animal. Whenever I'm down, I'll just give my dog a big hug, he leans into it, he's so sweet.

Random question: What's your policy on PDA?

I think it's sweet seeing people holding hands and hugging and whatnot. However, the other week I was at the mall and these teenagers in front of me were taking it too far. One would not stop groping the other's ass. They even were... like... digging their fingers in there.

Agreed. In high school my friends and I had a weekly couple we highlighted in our personal comic strips titled "Amateur Porn Weekly!" There was one couple we would walk by constantly and we called them the "Sex Mongers." Because they were in an open relationship and we found them humping a new girl or guy every other day. Not to mention there was one guy who would randomly walk by us when we were freeloading about in the hallway and hump a wall... or a water fountain... or an unsuspecting victim... Poor water fountain.
