>D: Take time off

After leaving the Council, you decide that now would be a good time to rest for a bit, as there really isn't much else that can be done until night comes around. You let Phio, Dorza and Dorze go back to their respective homes, sure that they must have needed to rest as well after spending the night in what was commonly known as enemy territory. You walk through the streets, past a small crowd of Wenta tribals, before reaching a place that you haven't seen in the past couple of days- your home. The small hovel is only big enough for exactly four rooms: your parents' bedroom, your brother's room, your room, and a small bathing room. Despite the cramped size, it's still home to you and your family. Knowing that your younger brother is likely alone in the small clay-built dwelling, you tap lightly on the entrance frame that held the grass curtain in place and call out to him.

"Brother, it's Anamaki. Are you here?"

Immediately, you can hear a slight rustling as you step inside the dwelling, alerting you that someone is indeed inside. Within a second, any risk that it might have been someone intending to do harm was dismissed with the sound of a running kit, and the sight of Amak running toward you. He immediately hugs you by the legs and, after a moment, backs away to greet you properly.

"Hello, sister! Where have you been?" He looked very excited, as though he were just happy to see you again even though you've only been gone a couple of days.

"I've been very busy, Amak. How have things been at home?"

"With you gone all the time lately, Mother and Father have been leaving me in charge of the house while they've had to continue their work with the Council. Since I'm in charge, I can't leave to play with friends or invite them."

That made sense, as there was little to do here, and he couldn't really invite any of his friends from inside the small building. Still, though, you kinda doubt that your parents would mind too much if he stepped out for a short while.

"Well don't worry, I'll spend some time with you."

The cub smiles before going to his room and returning with what appears to be a wooden doll covered with grass and leaves. It was the closest thing to a teddy bear that your society had. You both play together and bond for the next couple of hours, but eventually you decide that you're rested enough to do something else, and as such, you get ready to leave. Amak looks disappointed that you've stopped playing with him, but you know that he can handle it until you or your parents come home again.

As you step out of your home once again, feeling a bit rejuvenated, you wonder weather you should use the bathroom before leaving, as you could feel a slight pressure in your abdomen.
