Process
Comment me with the form! (Or if you're not sure I'll accept, note me about your idea and I'll see.)
Commission Form (idea thanks to Fenrixion!)
Commissioner: (your username here)
Character Name:
Species: (I'll need an explanation if it's a term, eg "Camoat - a Camel-goat hybrid", as I haven't heard of all of them)
Personality:
Reference Sheet/All the sketches you have Links: (more is better, I won't complain if you have a lot!)
Type Of Commission:
Clothes (link if possible):
Hair: (link ideally)
Expression: [I'll accept vaguties here, but prefer links]
Email:
Choice Of background pattern/texture:
Accessories/etc.:
What you want them doing:
Anything Else?:
File formats/etc.:
Then we'll go into considerable discussion so I know EXACTLY what you want. If you don't mind a "Surprise me," approach, I'm very happy to do that. I'll also do Focused Surprise Me, which means you say something like, "I want a fanasty battle scene with this character, surprise me,"
This is where you have to wait for the que. Sorry if it takes awhile.
Full payment comes here. Please pay all PayPal etc fees! No refunds.
Then I'll send you a Work in Progress (WIP) sketch (uncoloured). Look at it closely, because this is the time for changes. Anything other than a minor change after this point incurs an extra charge. I hate redoing things. Note me with the list of changes, and prefably with things you are very happy with so I don't change them by mistake.
If anything other than trivial changes occur at this point, I'll send you another WIP sketch for you to see if you like the way it's come out.
(If you pull out at the sketch stage, I still reserve the rights stated below over what I've drawn.)
Finally I'll send you the finished picture.
I will do some very minor alterations at this point, but that's it. If you aren't happy at this stage, I'm not giving another work for free!
As much as possible, link examples of what you want - expressions, colours, etc. This avoids (admittedly also a huge amount of reference-picture hunting for me) and frustration for both of us - I mean, if you request the character holding a "mace" and think it means a sort of club, and I thought it meant a mallet-chunky-hammer, that's not very good, is it? (Incidentally, to further my point, there are at least 3 distinct types of maces - spiked, finned (flanged) and knobbed, and a picture neatly clears up which kind you wanted! Also once someone refered to their work of a manhole/sewer-lid as a "ground access", which I would think means an exit from a large building at ground level - you see what I mean.)

You really should read the TOS. Because you're taken as accepting them when you commission me.
