Well, it looks as though I'm about to hit 50,000 pageviews. Y'know what that means? It's Kiriban time!

This is gonna be epic. So epic, you cannot comprehend.

The rules of entry are simple: Submit a comment below on or "near" 50,000 pageviews. I'll pick 3 random winners from valid participants! The closer you are, the more entries you can earn toward the raffle, and screenshots earn you bonus points. Read below for the the details!

Winner is determined randomly by raffle (see here for how I usually do it), from all valid submissions. It's NOT the very first post!. Those cause too much drama, and favor the wicked technical people. I want this to be designed to give everyone a chance.

Here's how to improve your chances of winning. Consistent with my way of doing things, it requires a little thought to maximize your potential. Here's how it works:

0) IF FA GOES DOWN NEAR THE 50,000 MARK, then .. the timers described below will be 'paused' during that time. So, like, if I hit 50,000 and FA goes down 1 hour later, then the kiriban timer won't end until 23 hours after FA comes back up, even if it's down for DAYS.

1) If you have a comment below within 24 hours of me hitting 50,000, you get 1 entry. That's 24 hours or less after I hit 50,000, or before I hit 50,000. That gives everyone TWO DAYS to submit an entry to the raffle. No gripes about being at work or whatever this time. =D
UPDATE: I hit 50,000 on 9/15 at 05:12 Mountain Time. Therefore, the game closes at 9/16 05:12 Mountain Time (that's 11:12 GMT). (Here's a handy converter)

2) If you do #1 and it has a screenshot showing the top-right corner of the profile page with all the stats, whether or not it's actually at 50,000, you get +1 entry

3) If your comment from #1 is submitted between the time I hit 49,995 and 50,005, whether or not it has a screenshot (I will know the times that I hit 49,995 and 50,005, because I have magical IT powers), you get +1 entry

4) If the screenshot from #2 shows exactly 50,000 and is legit (corresponds to the time and has the right number of comments and such), you get another +1 entry

5) If you leave only one comment, with NO follow-up comments that have corrections or addendums (but socializing is fine), you get +1 entry

So, getting 1 entry in the raffle is easy. Getting 5 entries will be pretty unusual.

Example #1: you're on your cell phone, and you can't do screencaptures, but you see the counter at 49,997. You submit a comment saying "Count me in!" or something. You get credit for #1. You also get credit for #3, and provided you leave no other comments fixing things, you get credit for #5. That means you'll get 3 entries in the raffle!

Example #2: you're on your tablet, and you can do screenshots no problem, but it takes a while to upload 'cause the interface is clunky. So you don't post your comment until the counter is at 50,003. You get credit for #1, #2, #3, and #5. That's 4 entries!

Example #3: you forgot about the kiriban until you got home. It's 8 hours past the 50,005 mark. You submit a comment anyway, showing the screenshot with the stats of like 50,112 pageviews. You get credit for #1, you get credit for #2, and as long as you don't make any changes, you get credit for #5. That's 3 entries!

Example #4: you leave a comment right now, Wednesday night, with no screenshot, and I don't hit 50,000 until sometime Friday. You get ZERO ENTRIES, since you didn't meet criteria #1.

I will draw THREE names. THREE! Holy crap, THREE!

First name drawn: you and one of my characters of your choosing will be in a commission done by  lauragarabedian, when she can squeeze us in. :) You get to decide the scene and poses (GA only please). The first $200 is on me. If you want something more elaborate than what that'll buy, you and I split the costs past $200. Note: Laura's pretty busy, and would probably not finish it until sometime in 2014, but sketching would probably begin late this year.

Second name drawn: you and one of my characters of your choosing will be in a commission done by an artist of your choosing. You arrange the commission slot, you get to decide the scene and poses (GA only please). First $100 is on me. You pay the remainder, if any.

Third name drawn: you and one of my characters of your choosing will be in a commission done by an artist of your choosing. You get to decide the scene and poses and which of my characters to use. If it's one of the Rooths, it's GA only. If it's one of the other characters, ANYTHING GOES. First $30 is on me, you pay the remainder, if any.
