The whole point of this journal is that since several people have expressed interests in commissioning more of The Persistent Dragon, I have decided to move towards a donation system so that multiple people can contribute for the same story.

^This is not very reassuring when you're essentially trusting random people to not get you in trouble with paypal.

I am in the process of trying to find a new plan. Problem is, with pre-existing conditions, all the premiums are absurdly expensive and its a hassle to find something affordable.

Does obamacare not let them charge u srm n leg for pre-existing? I think that only counts if u already have ins. How much r ur meds?

In my Paypal, when I am sending money, I have these options:

I'm paying for goods or services (which if chosen then indicates, "$0.00 USD fee. Free for you. The seller pays the fees.")
or
I'm sending money to family or friends (which is chosen indicates. "$0.00 USD fee if you use your PayPal balance and/or a bank account.$x.xx USD fee if you pay using your credit or debit card.)

Not as good or as long as Auspher's, but they are fun to write and I always like to challenge myself... plus dragons are hawt.

While I can see the advantage of accepting donations via paypal (likely more money than just through commissions), I think it sounds a bit risky. Hopefully a lot of people will donate to you, but that will also mean that you have put your trust in that a lot of random people on the internet don't have any malicious intent toward you. And even if they don't, there is still plenty of people that don't read instructions very well, and may out of ignorance mention dragon porn or something.
I will admit that I don't know a lot about paying through paypal (I have done it about 2 times in my life). I'm probably just paranoid, and the risks involved are likely rather low. And you have probably already considered them. But in case that you haven't, I still thought that I should mention it.
