Today is my 37th Birthday.

I recall a few years ago that I lamented that it didn't feel like I had accomplished anything. But I was judging 'accomplishment' by far too high a standard. Not everyone is going to be earthshaking in their historical significance and it is ridiculous to judge yourself based on how much impact you have on multitudes.

Instead I realize now that I have done so much already in my life, and that I can do so much for my family and my friends whom I deeply love; and most importantly, I can do so much to love my God and share that love with others.

So here's to 37 years of life full of cherished people, memories, and accomplishments. And to the many more years I hope I have ahead to be a father, a husband, and a son!
