Well I would be interested, likely helmsman or tactical.... but...!
- Can I possibly play Gorn? (since I don't recall any other good looking scalies in the verse)
- Europe here. Timezones gonna be a problem?
I Gorn can work, I am sure there were ones who fled to the Federation when the Klingons invaded.
Time Zone could be an issue depends on everyone. I am in GMT-8
Well nyeh. I can stay up 2 hours past midnight at most (currently, having no work anyway). That's GMT+1 timezone (And note our daylight savings don't change at the same date), so uhh....1700 latest for you. I guess that kinda does suck, doesn't it?
Alternatively I can get up in the morning, which will be 2200 for you...also sucks I guess?
Otherwise, the Saurians could work as well. Not as awesome in terms of looks, but they certainly have a lot more history with the Federation.
And holy crap, I didn't realize there were so many freaking species that's been featured in the Star Trek shows and movies. There's almost 400 of them... I checked out pretty much all of them for what they looked like and general bio. There are other creatures I may be interested in playing as well, but not all have a whole lot of background info or history listed for them. Some of these could be the Skor or Aurelian, which are more avian but have a history with working with the Federation as well.
The reptilian Xindi are also an option, but generally I don't think they've worked too much with the Federation except in help with some planetary gatherings, gaining aid from the federation to help with negotiations and what not.
The Voth are also interesting, having reptilian features as well and may potentially have its origins rooted in creatures from Earth, showing many genetic similarities to reptiles/dinosaurs from earth.
Thinking about it, I was going to mention an interest also in either Helmsman or Tactical officer. heh. But either could work! If needed though, could also be interested in Communications officer as well.
Also, as for which game system being used, it appears there are many different books for each separate Star Trek Series. Are you using a particular set?
