It's been a long time coming but I'm finally ready to start posting my comic! I'd appreciate it if you all read the following:

“Greener Grasses” will be the first in an 11-chapter series following a group of friends as they explore deeper parts of their relationships and experiment with some unexpected sexual escapades. A heads-up now: these will all be very NSFW, but I'm hoping to keep them tasteful and fun enough that they can be enjoyed by anyone. Some of the themes that will appear throughout the series are; transformation, bondage, exhibitionism, vore, gender-swapping and much much more!

This will be a donation funded comic. I'll be honest; while I do have a rough idea of how much I'd like to receive per page (and it's really not that much), this will not be a “I'll only post the next page after getting so much” deal. I think that's silly, and in the end I'd be cheating myself out of a lot of potential funds just because one page didn't do particularly well. So while I'll be posting either way, your generosity would still be incredibly helpful to me. And let me tell you why:

Full disclosure: Following my father's death, I went into a pretty dark place. During that time, I stopped taking some of my daily medications (I just didn't care enough), including my birth control. Now, as you guys can plainly see, I am still alive, am feeling better and want vehemently to end this several-month chastity, so I have been working to get my life together and am preparing to get back on the birth control train. However, I feel that my health has vastly improved since no longer being on the hormonal pill, and frankly would like something more permanent (short of major surgery) so I've decided to get an IUD. Unfortunately, uninsured, it will cost about $900. I have a bit saved up, but still have a long way to go. Ryan is of course willing to help me out, but since this pickle is really my doing, if I can front the whole thing I will. This is mostly for him after all, as without him I don't know where I'd be. The least I can do is give us the freedom to be intimate again.

For this reason, all donations to this first chapter will be put into the official “Get Houkuko Laid” Fund. XD I'm now accepting demos for a “We Are The World”-esque ballad for this cause. Somebody dig up Bob Hope!

(Seriously, it's already been since January and who knows how long it will take till we can actually afford this thing. I really need to get laid. @_@ )

Now, other than a sweet and saucy comic story (and getting me some tail XD ), what's in it for you if you contribute? Well first of all, all contributors and “signal boosters” will be included in a “thank you” image upon the comic's completion. The second thing you have to gain for contributing is to be included in the comic itself. Several pages have need for background characters and contributors will be selected by random lottery to be drawn into the comic. I would only require that contributors (donators and signal-boosters alike) fill out this donation form (link) (even if you do not have a character, please still submit a form so that I can include your name in the “thank you” page), and that you donate more than $3 (donations of any amount and frequency are welcome and will include you in the “thank you” image, however donations of $1, $2 or $3 will not qualify you for a background slot). If you donate more than once I will consider the total amount for your lottery entry. For the first chapter, there are 15 background character slots needed, and all of them will be relatively SFW, however in later chapters there will occasionally be need for some more risque characters. I will specify details in all the relevant chapters, but just so you're aware I'm making note of it now.

I'm really looking forward to starting this comic and am eager to see what you all think of it. I really hope it does well and gets me where I need to be. I will begin posting the comic next Monday, and from there it will be updated at least once weekly (meaning, I'm planning on every Monday but if I get finished with a page sooner than that, I will post it).

Quick disclaimer – I am sorry if I upset or offend anyone because of my actions (be it the content of the comic(s) or what I intend to do with the funds), but please keep in mind that what's right for you may not be what's right for me, and vice versa. This is important to me for my health, my quality of life, and the strength of my relationship. Not to mention the personal accomplishment of running a long-term project such as this. I respect your opinion and am happy to have a discussion if you wish, but I don't think any comments to me or my supporters condemning my (or their) actions is really necessary. Let's please be adults about this.
