what i usually do is when i get mad i wanna give up but i still wanna keep going anyways because i dont wanna quit on something i always wanna do and learn thats how i inspired myself it was from myself

when ever you feel down and feel like you wanna give up think about what will happen if u do quit and this makes you wanna keep going anyways even tho u wanna say i quit i cant do it anymore

The thing I think that's held me back the most is work ethic. My career as a insurance agent and financial adviser has changed that for me. Like Steve Jobs taking calligraphy classes I never thought I'd get anything out of commission sales but holy shit I learned so much more in a year then in the past six.

I was too distracted by video games, movies, partying with friends and furry cons that I never would of reached the creative skill in art and video that I needed to have to succeed or have the mindset I can and will be better then my competition.

Have the right work ethic, think about the future not just today. Time to get to work!

I remember when I had just started out being a full-fledged artist. I looked at other artists out there who are better than me at art. At first, it did gave me such a sickening envy, so much that it hurts.

I started having bouts of inferiority complex. I wanted to be on the same level as those awesome talented artists out there. When I can't, I fell into severe depression.

It was then I started to think, why exactly I started becoming an artist in the first place? Then it hit me: I love to draw. I draw because I enjoy drawing. Drawing skills become meaningless; as long as I can draw any art at all, that alone makes me happy.

Thus, I keep on drawing. Because doing so makes me happy.

That comic you've shown reminded me once again what it's like to actually enjoy drawing, instead of drawing just to get popular. Thanks for the share.

The problem for me is I feel like I wasn't meant to, even if I want to. Like there's some things that aren't for me in my life.
