*EDIT* Thank you guys for your overwhelming support with this raffle!! :3 I want to thank everyone, and seeing how well this raffle has been doing, and the feedback I've received, I've decided to do a second raffle after this one, where the winner will receive $1,000 Cash! Or $1,000 towards any amount of art they would like. ^^! There may also be more cash prizes and art prizes as well. <3! I recently won an auction for a 5 page comic by the amazing
jailbird and decided to give a bit back to the furry community by posting this raffle, that allows one lucky floofball to have his character be a Main Character in a comic worth $1,000 with my Fursona! ^^, Yes, you read that right, One lucky floofball will have any character of their choosing be in a comic worth $1,000, for free! All you have to do is follow the rules to enter, and comment down below and you’ll have a chance to win! ^^
What you get if you win this raffle:
1. One character of your choosing, (Potentially more than one, depends on the idea we both come up with for this comic.) being the second main character paired with my fursona, KrisPup, in this comic.
2. The storyline of this comic isn’t completed yet. So you’ll be able to consult with me personally to come up with the setting/story/plot of the comic, We’ll brainstorm together, and talk for awhile about the project to come to an agreement, but you will definitely have a say in what the comic is about!

Why are you doing this?:
I haven’t been part of the furry fandom for very long, and just recently decided to make a Furaffinity account. But from the furrys I’ve met in person at cons, and the ones I’ve met on Furaffinity, I have one thing to say, you guys are awesome! I know that a lot of furrys don’t have much money to get much art done of their characters, but you guys totally deserve it! ^^ So this is my way of giving back to the furry community, and letting everyone have a chance at some really great, free art from a popular artist! :3
The official closing date will be 10PM EST on October 31st to enter, but depending on how much traffic this gets, it may be closed earlier, or pushed a bit later than that for me to count and verify the entries. (As long as this journal doesn’t say CLOSED, you may still enter.) At which point I’ll use a random number generator to pick a number from one of the numbers of valid entries. The winning entry will be declared the winner and will be contacted by me shortly afterwards, and will appear as a main character in the comic! ^^
(This comic can be NSFW or SFW and there are no restrictions on gender/species! ^^)

Funny Story: So it was the first time I met up with actual furries at an anime convention called Setsucon at PSU. I was real nervous at first, but soon enough, we were becoming buddies. The best part of it was that hung out with a pink cabbit and a Kyuubi cosplay that squeaked! So frickken adorable. And surely one of the best weekends of my life.

So, on a couple sites - FN, F4L, etc. - I don't have gender listed; for whatever reason, people seem to automatically assume I'm female... this has led to a lot of interesting discussions with extremely disappointed straight guys looking for a mate.

Thankies a lot for the chance it's really awesome that you want to give something back to such an awesome and interesting fandom. I'd like to something like this for the community in general in the future because I feel like I owe a lot to this fandom. Thanks to it I was able to show myself to the world as I really am fearless of whatever people could say. Anyways I don't want to get you bored with my story about being sad and then becoming in the happiest fur over the world so one of the funniest things that hapened to me as a furry I think . . . . . . Oh yeah now I remember!!!! Well first of all I need to mention that all of this happened in México City (I live there) tee hee, the things is that I was in the metro on my way to a furmeet. But this time was pretty different because a few days before a good friend of mine went to México and gave me a gift that was a really pawesome wolf tail *.* and well at the very first moment I went out of home I was wearing my wolf tail so I was in the metro and here in México happens that "homeless kids" go all over the metro wagons asking for money. This kids can be around 6 yrs to 11 yrs and well if I guess correctly this kids were like 7 or 6 yrs old they were a boy and a girl I guess siblings and then they started to ask for money to all the people until they come to me and obviously they couldn't help it but watch my tail wagging because of the metro moving so the boys comes close to me and instead of asking me for money he ask me to have my tail and I was just like "Heck no kid I wuv my tail" then he had a sad face and he just said "aaaaawwww it's so cute, can I rub it??" obviously I didn't hesitate on nodding and he started to touch my tail and ended hugging it then the girl goes to the boy and tell him hey stop it! And the boy says "But, it's fluffy. . . . touch it" and this girl didn't want to until I smiled and she felt more confident and stroked my tails fur and said "It's so soft sir". Then of this story . . . . . I guess it wasn't the funniest thing at all but to be honest I found it as a very cute moment in my life with non furry people and what made me even happier was the fact that I could make two kids smile even when they are in a bad economic status. I wanted to give up my tail but obviously it was a gift and I couldn't do that. Anyways I guess that's my boring story =)

Not-so-funny-history-in-the-fandom-but-I-hope-you-like-it: I've been a furry for about 4 years now, and for the first three years I've never socialized with other furs, so the first furry I met was a friend who was in the same college, and I felt really amazing about that, then I asked if he knew other furries in town and of course he did, then I asked when I can know them because I'm not a very sociable person, so in the beginning of this year I assisted to a fur meet and I finnaly knew the fun part of the furry fandon, I found a person who I love very much right now and I'm not so unsociable as I were years ago, I feel really happy for it (told ya that i't's not so funny but it's the greatest history than happened to me in the furry fandom)

Anyhow. As for your entry requirement, I don't think I have any particularly funny stories about my life in the furry fandom... unless you count my "Tail of Controversy".
However, in light of that, I shall say the word "Purple!", and instead tell you a joke and say thanks for the chance <3
Three couples want to join the Baptist Church. They all meet up with the minister who tells them "If you want to join, you must abstain from sex for two weeks and then return". After which, the three couples leave.
Two weeks later they return, gathering in the back room with the minister. He turns to the first couple, and elderly gentleman and his wife and says "Were you able to abstain?"
"Oh yes, it was pretty easy for us", replied the gentleman, and the minister welcomes them to the church and they leave.
He turns to the second couple, a middle-aged couple, and says "Were you able to abstain?"
"Well," replies the husband, "It wasn't so difficult the first week, but the second week we had to sleep in separate beds... but we managed it". The minister welcomes them to the church and they leave.
As he turns to the third couple, a young couple, the man stops him before he can ask and says "On the second day, my wife reached up to get a lightbulb from the top shelf and dropped it. As she bent over to pick it up, I couldn't help myself, and we made love right there on the floor."

No funny story but been a closet fur for years. It's actually how me and my mate met. She has a overly awkward bf and it turned out he hated furries (freaking CSI AND MTV!). She had a falling out with him. I reached out as a furry we ended up chatting alot and became good friends until she one day ended up asking me about ^.^. Been quite blessed ever since!
Also purple is the best color but no so great when compared to lavender, its much better! ;3

Funy story: It's isnt realyl funny but I met my ex-boyfriend while Playing Counter-Strike source, we both found each other due to our sprays of furries in that game and we started talking and later things just worked themselves out.

funny story...i think: once on D&D night me and my other furreh buddy were making characters. he use his fursona as a reference to make his character. the best part was that he stayed in character the entire night. every cute little squeak and meow went perfectly for everything that happened in the game.

A) I remember the last day of Texas Furry Fiesta this past year, I went over to the leather harnesses, leashes and collars booth and there was this guy who was working the stand with his partner. Keep in mind I am walking over there with my wonderful girlfriend, so this burly, bearded, and fuzzy chested guy with a collar and a harness of his own comes over to greet us and he was keeping his eyes on me like something fierce. Anyways, he starts showing us stuff and it is all quite awesome and he starts rubbing my chest "Oh you have such a nice body sir" is the vibe I was getting from him. My wonderfully vocal girlfriend decided to add that my Fursona was a Red Panda. I chuckle and he goes "Oooo not too many of those around these parts. He's such a cute Red Panda" and pets me. I am letting him do all this without so much as flinching or swatting away. After about 20 minutes of the lovely gentleman saying how cute I was and touching my chest here and there we left and waved goodbye at him. I have never felt so awkward yet flattered in my life.B) In case story was not funny, Purple! (Check)

Funny Story: There was this big thunderstorm, my cat smokey, being scared of everything at the time, he sat in an open window, then next thing I know I see a bundle of fur heading towards me knocking me down onto my back with smokey stuck to my shirt. His fur was on end and everyone in my family wouldn't quit laughing, but I think it was fun but sad. OH, and at the time I was wearing fuzzy, faux fur slippers on a hard kitchen floor. oh and purple.

This one time I was on a bus and I was sitting next to a guy on his phone, and I totally wasn't spying on him, but I could see what he was doing, and after he'd finished writing a text he went back to the main screen, and his background was this maned wolf being all steampunky and what not... so I sat there for most of bud trip deciding whether to talk to him and making weird indecisive noises. Finally after staring at him and him noticing this I blurted out "What's your fursona's name???" "Do you have an FA???" Funny Story: Once when I was young..er I was helping my mom with her weekly shopping and I had to wait for her when she went to relieve herself so I sat on a kids Tiny Toons ride in the shape of a Carrot car with Buster Bunny sat in the passenger seat. I'm not sure how but while waiting I slipped and my foot went into it...when my mother got back I tried to get up but to my horror I discovered my foot was stuck I mean really REALLY stuck. in the end the Fire department had to be called to get me out. ^_^

SO a man goes to the woods, and he see's a bear. It's a plain old black bear, and he thinks nothing of it really, so he decides to shoot it.

Well after that, he feels a tap on his shoulder, and behind him is a Brown Bear.
"you just shot my cousin, So I am gonna give you two choices. you can let me maul your face off, or let me have my way with you."
Well The guy rather likes his face, so he goes with option B. He gets taken HARD, and ends up in the hospital. A few days goes by, and he gets out, but he is PISSED. SO he goes to get a bigger gun, goes out to the woods, finds the Brown Bear, and shoots it.

Well after that he feels a tap on his shoulder, and behind him is a Grizzly Bear.

Funny story: Just about everyone in my life had never heard about furries or how the concept of them worked. One of my friends Kris grew interested in my hobby as I told her about it, and she wanted to know more about the fandom. I told her how furries are animals that have been given human like traits or characteristics, and when she asked what I was, I told her that I was a wolf. Keep in mind that she hasn't heard of the fandom before, or the statistics of how many wolves and foxes overcome the amount of any other animal in the furry world. She paused for a moment, and said sarcastically, "wow, how original...." Even regular non-furs understand how unimaginative it is to choose a wolf. XP

Hmmm. A funny story? I've several, actually? I'll go with a clean one.
This was at Anthrocon 2006, and I was to join the Military Furries for breakfast. I was in my full dress white uniform, with both medallions and ribbons, and I was looking hot and sharp. As I approached the table, Father John (who was soon to be an officer chaplain in the USMC) gave me a salute. He was out of uniform, so to return his salute would have been improper. "Sorry, father, but I can't salute you."
Eyebrows across the entire table went up. That should have been my clue, but nope!
Father John said, "I think you need to drop, sailor."
Again, ever the Captain Clueless, I shook my head. "You're not an officer, so you can't drop me."
At which point Cmdr. Kitsune, who is a real-life O-5 commander in the US Navy, turns around in his chair and said, "Drop."
Captain Clueless no more! I removed my cover and assumed the plank position. "SIR! READY TO BEGIN PUSH-UPS, SIR!"
"Begin."
And push-ups I did provide, counting them out one at a time.
Loudly.
And the overall din and chatter of the entire restaurant dwindled to an expectant hush as I reached twenty. "SIR! TWENTY PUSH-UPS SIR, PERMISSION TO RECOVER, SIR!"
"Recover."
As I stood up to thunderous applause from everyone in the restaurant, it was understood that many lessons were learned that day, by all hands involved.

5. Funny Story: So a couple fursuiters walk into a bar... Alright, but seriously, I think my entire time in the furry fandom has been a funny story all in itself. And that would take waaaaaaay too long to tell. But I can say that being able to be a fursuiter and going to events and dealing with the public has to be the best and most fun I've had. Especially dealing with little kids who think that I'm a real, green wolf-person-thing. Children are just the best and their reactions when they see me are just priceless. xD (Ah well I'm not really good with telling funny stories I guess...so I'll just type "purple" just in case lol).

Unfortunately, I can't think up many funny stories, most are tragic or just happenstance or I just forget. Maybe something not so funny? There was this one person who I had thought was the sweetest, kindest person in the world. Not giving out names. The only issue was, she was extremely busy most of the time and was practically a FurAffinity star, why would she talk to me, right? So I tried to send her a message at the urging of my friend; the person didn't respond, however. It was just a simple "Hello", my nerves had driven me deep into my own imaginary shell. Then, 2 months later, my friend urged me again, and being in a melancholy mood I tried again. This time, she responded! I practically jumped for joy as

Background of Absinthy:
(Its a work in progress) but basically Absinthy fox is a saiyan, and she be holds super saiyan powers she has yet to discover. The marking under her right eye is a symbol of her race. Along with the heterochromia, Abby takes one of her parents eye color. She is extremely powerful and protective, but also has a shy nature. She can turn into a raven, but it's very rare for that to happen. However she does fly and shows her wings often.
I am still making a story for her but that's just the basics. If needed more info on her, I will gladly add more. I'm a pretty big DBZ fan, so I kinda based my character off the show in my own way. Hehe thank you for the opportunity!

Funny Story: PURPLE! I have way too many funny stories awkward events to explain. The one that sticks out the most though is when I went to my first fur event called "Furloween" in 2011. I was so ecstatic and excited meeting all the furs and especially the fursuiters. During one of my drunken moments I saw the furloween bat mascot and literally glomped him, knocking him over. Poor guy. xD

Funny story: I guess what a funny story would be when one of my relatives found one of my furry drawings. after having shown a friend what was in the sketchbook, we both knew what was on the next page and freaked out. we managed to get the sketchbook away and my cousin was still confused on what the drawing even was. It was embarrassing yet hilarious to us because it was a picture of a muscular tiger in a thong x3. Was better than the time my mom went through my backpack, but one story should suffice :3.

So, one of my friends found out I was a furry, via me being drunk and telling him. So it was all ok, it was fine and it wasn't mentioned again, until we were watching videos on youtube. It was some collection of video game parodies and one of them was that infamous Pokemon Snap animation, you know, the one with anthro Pokemon gals with boobs everywhere. Yeah, we sat watching that part in complete, awkward silence. He turned around after the clip finished and said, 'I bet ye liked that ya dirty bastard.' then we laughed.

So this one time me and a couple friends of mine were driving around, We passed tacobell and realized there was no other turn off so I pulled into the next turn off section, anyways as we turned in there was a break in the parking lots between tacobell and where we were. So we said screw it and drove thru soft uneven sand bouncing all around in my little 84 300zx like a bunch of bobble heads. Never thought we'd go off roading to for Tacobell. Funny story... *trails off into thought* Okay, here's one that, due to the nature, I won't give away the identity of a particular person involved XD I'll just be generic and call him "Bob"
SO, one of mine and my mate's local furiends introduced us to another local fur, Bob. That was the only time we'd really met until somewhere in the span of a week or so to a month later we went to FWA. I was talking to a couple of random people when this guy walks up and starts talking too. Not long after the original two people I was hanging out with and talking to left, and so it was just me and that guy... he ended up trying to offer me sex, and I was like "Sorry, but I kinda have a boyfriend and whatnot", and right as I said that, my mate walks up. This guy then proceeds to say "That's fine, he can join in too!", at which we decline again. A little bit later after the other two people come back and we resume chitchat, my boyfriend says he looks familiar, and I agreed. I was like, he looks like Bob; my mate looked at the badge the guy was wearing, said that it was indeed Bob. I stood up and pointed at him "YOU!". He was like "what?", to which I reminded him "we met not long ago back in Starkville!". As soon as he remembered who we were, he went red and was extremely embarrassed. He's a bit of a stereotypical fox, and so whenever I see him, I have to tease him about this one time.

Story: Wellllllll, okay so I was at Anthrocon last year with my dad and a couple friends.. Well we ended up getting separated and so my dad and I walked alone.. We sat down and I got to doodle a bit and these three..maybe four fursuiters ran and pretty much collided of course me not paying attention I look over to my dad who had the funniest WTF face I've ever seen him with so I looked back up and the one 'brother?' Funny story: Okay well I'm not normally a clumsy person buuuuuuut I have my moments. Okay so I'll derping around the halls of the double tree hotel at AC and while doing so my feet decide to say "hey you see that table there? Well watch this" and I trip and fall on my face and while my friend is laughing his ass off I quickly regain "composure" and lean against the elevator doors which opened a split second later leaving me to fall backwards into an elevator full of furs who decided to move out of the way rather than catch the random guy falling into the elevator. By this point my friend is dying on the floor laughing... And I'm laying in a small elevator with I believe 4 other furs staring at me in that way of..... Should we help him? So I get up and walk out of the elevator thinking it was over.... Buuuut I tripped over that small space between the floor and the elevator and fall on my face again. Really wasn't my day lol rest of the con went amazing though

4. Ok, not sure how funny some will find this, but i still look back and get a good laugh. Back in the early 90's Idaho furries decided to get together for the first time. we ended up meeting at a Hastings coffee shop, there was only 4 of us the first meet, and the meet was
5 hours long. That first meet, the four of us stared at the ground the whole time almost saying nothing. being so shy it was hard for us to talk to each other. The next two meets were exactly the same, except for asking what everyone wanted to do, each question was left with a negative response. "do you wanna go for a walk? "no, its to hot out." Do you wanna go get something to eat? "i dont have any money" though with someone responding that time with "typical fur." after those first three meets, i took charge and became a lot more dominant over the group...telling everyone "we are doing THIS and your coming" with all the furries at the time just agreeing. Heh, subby shy furs. those were the days.

During my time at Germanys Eurofurence i got myself a "bucket" of sangrea. and shared it with a bunch of furs .... i say share, i mean hoard to myself. after getting smashed off this tropical alcoholic drink, and not being able to stand on two feet without being wibbly wobbly two of my friends decided to take a arm each and carry me, this went form carrying to dragging the closer we got to my hotel room when suddently a Big, Burly German Fur decided to pick me up, With a lot of ease (considering im 6foot he must of been 6 1/2 to 7 foot high)
he then proceeded to say "i take him to his room for you yes? have my way with him if you like"
My friend were like "no no no no its ok"....unlike me i was all "HAVE ME" and "I wanna see your bratwurst"

Story: Once a challenge was laid down by a friend of mine. She claimed that guys don't know how to handle boobs so I said I'd take that challenge, and at AC we happened to find ourselves in her room and her roomies all out. Was awkward, but really how can you not laugh too?

So, I'm sitting at work, brushing out yarn fluffies for a yarn tail, when my boss walks up. He's like, what are you working on? I took one of the fuzzies and places it over my lip and said, I'm making mustaches! He was unammused. He said: No seriously, what are you working on? I told him that I'm making a tail out of yarn. As expected, he asked the same question everyone else does, "why?". Most of the time, I respond with, "haven't you ever wanted a tail?" or "why not?" but he saw right through it. So I told him how I was a furry. To my surprise he knew what it was and smiled at me for the first time ever. I told him I was tiger, hense the tiger tail and his response to the whole thing is: "At least you're not a fox" XD I just about died. Good times.

Funny story: Probably when I was dancing at ESG'13 I was dancing with my friend and we were just going crazy.

Let's see....as for a funny story....I haven't been to any cons yet, which I really want to change. However when I moved in to my dorm at the beginning of the semester, there was a local meet going on the day I moved in. I was aware of this, and I really wanted to get to the meet. So as soon as my mom and I got to campus, I unloaded everything I had as quickly as possible and tried to shoo my mom out the door XD Unfortunately, she wanted to go shopping for furniture for me, and eventually we ended up going. Long story short, despite me trying to expedite the whole move-in process (which was most likely futile seeing as this is a process which takes hours) I ended up only being able to go to the meet for about an hour at the very end, but still got to see a few old furiends and meet a couple new ones!

Story: Oh gosh I have so many hilarious stories since I've been in this fandom. But one of my favorites was at FurFright 2011 I was playing cards in the lobby and waiting for our pizza delivery. In the time I was first starting out as a fur, I had a fun encounter with a group of kids. They were around the age of 5-7 years old and I was sitting at the elementary school park by my house. Funny Story:
I decided to treat myself to a trip to Further Confusion in 2009. When I realized I had enough funds, I decided to treat my boyfriend as well. I was in Florida at the time, my boyfriend in Wisconsin. I booked the tickets online, and since we're in different locations, have to book our flights separately, with the plan of meeting at the airport in San Jose. The day arrives and I fly out from Florida, arriving in Denver for my connecting flight. As I approach the gate, I see my boyfriend sitting there o.0 Apparently, despite being booked on different days, and our original flights departing at different times from opposite ends of the country, we ended up on the same connecting flight to San Jose! Fortunately we were able to wrangle seats next to each other. :)

a funny story...it's not necessarily funny, but awkward enough...well i just went to my first fur con, rainfurrest, and during the last dance i told myself that one of my goals was to dance with a fursuiter. i finally got the courage to go up to one, and just as we were about to make physical contact, his roommate comes by and tells him their room was broken into...he ran off and i was left there standing awkwardly by myself...i gave up dancing with one of them after that, it was a sign.

5. Funny story: Ok, so I used to work with a guy that, soon after I started the job, took a liking to me and started talking to me. One day he told me he was a furry and it was so awesome to meet another furry just like that! So we hung out quite often and he began learning things about me and knew I was gay, and one day, I asked him to go to this local sex shop with me. Now I am a really shy guy and get kinda awkward in a place like that so I asked him to pay for something for me; an 18" toy. He did it for me and we went back to his house and when we got home, his girlfriend at the time seemed to take an interest in it. They asked if they could use it and I let them and they had fun. Eventually I left and took it with me but I forgot to grab the package it came in. His roommates came home and saw the box and they would NOT believe that it wasn't his. To this day, they call him Double Dildong Boy sometimes xD (Sorry if that's inappropriate for the journal but it was the only really funny thing I could come up with DX)

(I don't get to do RL stuff u.u) It was a big picket sign that you could have say almost anything you wanted to. (almost because of space limit) So me and a bunch of friends stood around with these signs and just goofed off saying things with it like "I'm with stupid" and "<character name> for President" It was really a fun, silly time.

Funny Story: I have been part of the furry fandom for about 14 years now, and 99% of the furs I've met and talked to and become friends with have been males. I put up a "hey wanna meet/rp?" type of forum posting. A few furs respond, and a couple I actually start talking with. One of them turns out to be a girl (I didn't care, it was just a 'Huh! finally happened!" kinda thing), and I was talking to a second one. As I did, I started getting suspicious that she was a girl too. As I talked with her some more, she finally gave away that she WAS a girl; but also said that she much preferred male predators because the female ones were far too prevalent. I responded that it was cool, didn't matter to me; but as I am doing that I turn to another friend through IM and laugh with him about having bumped into two girls so close together after 14 years of all guys. I mentioned what she'd said to me about preferring male preds, and his response was "Ohhh... I like her. I LIKE her! Keep that one."

So when I first got my tail and my day off I went to the theater wearing it, all the employees all stared at me confused. One of the foreign employees stopped me and asked, "Why are you wearing that tail?" I replied, "To get attention of course." He looked at me confused and said, "why not just do something outrageous like wear offensive t-shirts or gay pride stuff." Story time!!! - Alright so I happened to go to my first con down in Columbus which was Morphicon. Overall the con was kind of nerve wracking but I started to get over it in the most irresponsible way possible. DRINKING! I had just left a room party when I noticed two business guys speaking Russian walking up the stairs. I had to go that way too since the elevator was broken. The next thing I know i'm sitting there drinking vodka out of a PURPLE bottle with these two guys and we're having the time of our fucking life. I didn't know Russian and I'm sure as hell positive they didn't know English but we were still cracking jokes back and forth in the universal language of drunken stupor. Best night of my life.

One funny experience in the fandom, comes from Duke, an GS from Australia. Durin a convent and a gaming event, there was a task when you had to run around a cone. Duke in this case, took the head of his fursuit and twisted it a couple of times instead. I found that quite funny xD

Answers were fun, but the one that made it hillarious for us was BATMAN!!! Caps and all. I broke and literally rolled on the floor laughing. Story: One of the first times I went out with a bunch of suiters (though I don't have a suit myself), we were entertaining some kids for a bit until some unruly teenagers came over and started taunting the suiters, eventually going so far as to strike one in the head. Long story short, the cops were called and the teens tried to get the suiters in trouble instead by making up stories, but the kids were willing to speak up in our defense and get the mean teens in trouble!

funny story?~ The first time I went to a furcon was fwa, and within a day I ended up hanging out outside, and we all got the bright idea to smoke a hookah through a bad dragon toy(that was new and still packaged). the fursuiters were the worst, cuz they shoved that thing in all the way in to get it to their actual mouths. noone got in trouble, but its something that everyone I speak to who was involved rembers/will remember for a while.

Funny Story: this last rainfurest a few friends and i decided to go to the hot tub one of the night, now one of the people with us hasn't brought any swim trunks how ever he was absolutely wasted and wasn't going to let this stop him, so he exclaims "Screw it ill wear these" and drops his pants. To our amusement hes wearing only panties, so we hand him a towel and walk down to the pool deck. Once down there we find out that theres at least 15 other furs there and he has a sudden change of heart. However he foolishly decides to go test the waters with his toes and as you'd expect with a quick shove from behind he quickly finds himself flying into the pool his towel no longer around his waist. Needles to say there were many exclamations and remarks from the other furs xD

So my sister was in school, talking with her friends. She wasn't really paying attention to the conversation but suddenly thought she heard someone say 'sweaty balls'. So she looked up all confused and yelled SWEATY... and just then her teacher ( the teacher I also had later on ) came around the corner and looked up at her with a worried face. She then continued her sentence. ..BALLS she yelled and then ran away.
She later had to face the fears of having matchs class with him 30 minutes later x3 This story always makes me giggle.

Actually quick funny story. For my first ever furry meet I met an interesting character that I thought was amazing and I wanted to know who it was. Practically right before I went to the furry meet and right after I got into furry from a friend, someone showed me the episode of CSI... yea you all know it lol. So I went around trying to find out who it was and it seemed everyone new this person but seemed to not tell me something so I got confused. The character was a female umm cat I believe. Well finally I got to one of my good friends whom I figure would tell me the truth. Well when he told me that yet the character was a female, who was inside was a male, I nearly fell over with surprise and laughter. I thought it was awesome how well he pulled it off and the fact that I thought that it was one of the things that CSI made out to be real that wasn't. I was so amused by this that I had to meet him/her and was so cool that I found what what an awesome person this was.

5. Funny story? Well I think this is Kinda funny, I went to RF this ear for the first time and me and my roo mates played a game of Con Bingo. There were a bunch of things we had to find at the con. So it was the last night, and all I need to find to win was a "Brony" ( Someone you was pimped out in MLP stuff.) and one of the rules was you had to call out dibs to get the Bingo Square. Well I was really drunk and I found a Brony and pointed out at him and yelled out "DIBS!" I was super embarrassed But i probably made that guys night.

Purple! But you can have a story too. This actually happened this past weekend at FurFright. I ran into a good friend of mine at the con who will be making my fursuit within the next month of two. However, he was fairly drunk and asked me, "When are you getting your fursuit?!". I just laughed and told him, "You're making it you dummy" and I could see the gears turning before he exclaims, "Oh ya!" Definitely got a good laugh out of it.

Funny story: I went to FWA 2012. It was my first con. My roommates and I (Daiba and Sasha) met Corndog (jollyzjackel) and during the fursuit parade, Corndog threw a bag of candy corn to Sasha and missed. It hit a guy in the head. It was funny. ^.^

Here's a funny story... or at least funny from our perspective:
I went to Anthrocon 2010. We arrived at the hotel the day before the con, but people were already sporting ears and tails, and there were a number of fursuits walking around outside the hotel and in the lobby. The con had already pretty much overtaken the hotel. After we checked into our hotel (the Omni) we went to go back to the car for our stuff, and as we exited the lobby, a big long white limousine pulled up in front... and a woman is a full bridal gown gets out of the back, followed by her now-husband and bridal party. They looked PISSED. She said, "what the fuck?" and I said, almost instinctually "congratulations". She glared at me, and then turned to go into the hotel, but was suddenly mobbed by fursuiters. It was hilarious, but I felt bad for her too. That's why you should ask if there are any local events going on when you book your honeymoon suite!!

5. first time i came to california Spottacus took me to this little unknown dimsum place in san francisco, in fursuit. So, my first furry con was FurCon in San Jose because i was lucky enough to live there when it came around. by that time i had made a few friends from my time at SJSU and, thanks especially to my silver tongue, i was able to convince 3 of them to come with me and 2 of my other, much furrier friends. at one point, when we were all sitting at a table eating some dinner, one of my non-fur friends, who was previously missing, finds us and tells us of how he was in the art section when he has to pee, and the only restroom he knows of is through the porn section. he blasts through there as fast as he can but he says that he caught an eye-full of some of our more "interesting" pieces of art. nonetheless, it was an experience he'll never forget, im sure.

Funny Story: Hmm, well I could say for sure I was talking to two friends on XBox. One a potential boyfriend, the other just a friend who was engaged. I was about to head to bed. I was tired and sleep deprived for roughly 30+ hours at this time and I made a bad error. I sent a picture to the wrong person via the xbox webcam. And of course it wasn't exactly kid friendly. Not noticing it at the time I then shut down and went to bed. Waking up later that day. Hopped back onto my xbox and a message was present. My engaged friend replied to the picture I took of myself. It was positive at least *^^* but I felt so embarrassed that I choked up and turned off my xbox promptly. That friend called me on my phone a few days later and we got it patched up but still that it happened was funny, embarrassing and rough *^^* Oh and we're still good friends to this day. :3

Story: I went to Furlandia (Brand new convention arranged within 4 months, ended up with 2k people/furs attending, in Portland, Oregon) back in May, and one of the panels I went to was about how to make a Fursuit. I stayed through the whole thing, unlike many others (started with something like 12, ended with 3 of us) and the fursuit maker was very generous, and gave away some of his scraps.. I ended up carrying out 1 Yard of Tan/light brown fur, which once my mom saw/heard that I wanted to make a Fursuit (or get one, at least) she promised to make one for me. She has the tail mostly done.. only needs to figure out how the tail will strap on/attach to my waist.

The funny story that you asked for, well, I really don't have one.I recently moved to Oregon, in the Beaverton area. I lived in Alabama before.. and furs there, in the particular part I was in.. are rare. For the first time in my life I was able to start fresh, and the very day I came here, I got to go out and meet three other furs! It was a nice change. Since that wasn't a funny story.. I guess here's the word! Purple!

5: I made friends with someone during the closing days of the Road Rover fandom who had an affinity to a video game character. While I never saw his face I closely associated the game character with him. Years after we both joined the Furry fandom proper he changed his name and created his own fursona, and life continued on. Then just a few years ago while at a convention I almost literally bumped into him. While he was in a fursuit. Happy to finally meet him it took a moment for him to realize who I was, having to tell him my AIM handle to help make the connection and our friendship originating from the Road Rover fandom. After talking for a few minutes he headed out to meet up with others. Shortly thereafter I realized I still haven't seen his face! I wasn't able to find him during the rest of the convention, and I still don't know what he looks like apart from his fursona/fursuit.

I quite recently talked to my mate's school friend on the phone, while we all were drunk. She said something like "Hey! You're one of those strange furry-animal-things, right? Tell me an interesting story as you're interesting and strange... why are you so strange?"
While that might sound somewhat rude, it was actually pretty cute to hear her being so completely clueless and facinated. I couldn't help but to laugh, so the story was told by my even more drunken friend and it was totally priceless adaptation of Lord of the Rings :3

funny story: at my first fur con, the friends who invited me walked me down to the con from our hotel room. me being nervous about my first con i want to be left alone as i was new to being a fur and had never been to a con before. but they found some thing interesting to do back in the hotel room, so in an attempt to find some one else to shadow and feel slightly secure i did what came natural, put on a collar and leash and just held out the other end of the leash looking like a lost puppy. did not take long for some one to grab the leash and just start leading me around the con introducing me to all their friends and favorite artist attending the con. the friends i came with found me towards the end of the day drunk and still be lead around by a cute guy and his mate, ever sense that day my friends refer to me as Badru the puppy.

5) Oh jeez. A funny story? I'm not a very funny guy... Well, the first time I ever met a furry in real life, she had been putting off meeting me for, like, weeks, and I wasn't sure why! So, eventually, when we did meet and got lunch and went to see a movie, she ended the day by saying, "I can't tell you what a relief it is to meet you. I thought for sure that you were an old dude pretending to be young!" I guess that's what I get for using proper grammar and punctuation! xD

Story: Well, for the longest time, I had one friend from school, we were close and such and talked a bunch. But I didn't know he was a furry himself, and one night I ran into him on skype with a chat full friends, we kinda flirted then got on voice chat. Well, we heard each other, recognized each others voices, then we kinda just froze, laughed then stop what we were .. about to do XP..

4) Well.. At one convention, myself, my mate and a few friends managed to strike up a conversation with Uncle Kage. We talked for a while and listed to a few of his stories, which were hilarious as always, and eventually adjourned to my room in order to partake in wine and more stories. We offer Uncle Kage a glass (cheap disposable plastic cup in this case) as he continues entertaining us all with his humorous antics. Well, after a short while he had to make his way to the auditorium to start his actual performance of Uncle Kage's Story Hour, all of us laughed when we saw him on stage with his proper glass of wine in one hand and the plastic cup we had given him in the other. The humor of the whole situation might not translate all that well to text here, but at least it's a fond, funny memory from furry times past.

Well, a funny moment to me this year was at Anthrocon, I was suiting late at night and walking with a friend to the double tree, and a girl stopped, in the middle of the street and rolled her window down and shouted, "Hey, can I please take yer picture!!!" <3 She was so excited to see me and it felt really good just to see her smile :3 Then off she went, waving! :3

Story Time! So, I've been in the fandom a pretty long time - probably almost a decade by now - and started off on a quaint little community known as Yiffstar (which has since come to be known as SoFurry) doing role play on forums. If you take the time to read some of the stories in my gallery or check the vignettes in some of the reference pics I linked, you'll find that I'm not too shabby a writer regarding erotic stuff, and the same carries over to my RPs. One incident really sticks out that probably should have bugged me, but made me more flattered and entertained than anything else. I was reading through some other folks' one-on-one RPs, and I noticed somebody's responses seemed to be worded quite well. Well enough that I almost considered striking up something with him. That is, until I came across one reply he'd done in particular that seemed a bit familiar. Upon running through some of my own RPs, it turned out the guy had been copy/pasting the replies I'd been making in my RPs into his own, and somehow they very closely matched up to the general plotline of what was going on! I did end up confronting him about it, got an apology, but like I said, I actually found the whole thing funny, and it really was funny that someone actually thought I was good enough to plagiarize.

Story: Erm.. I don't have any funny stories about the furry community.. Can I tell one about an anime convention instead?
One time a couple years ago I was attending Otakon (biggest anime/gaming convention on the east coast up in Baltimore) and walking around the place with my friends. There was this person walking around cosplaying as Cammy from Street Fighter and doing a -damn- good job of it! Had the perfect figure for the character, height, complexion, smooth skin, nice outfit and body paints, the works! Now, I had already met this person earlier one and we'd spoken for a while while we attended a couple panels, so I knew already, but my friend didn't. He leaned over and whispered to me about how hot that Cammy was and how much he wanted to see under the spandex.. so I encouraged him to go up and say hello and drop a pick-up line. So... he did! He strolled up and hit on that Cammy like there was no tomorrow! And then the cosplayer turned around and my friend saw the distinct bulge at the bottom of that tight outfit and his face went ghost white! He was mad at me for like three hours after that!
And if that story doesn't work - purple!
