I miss when you did more adult stuff... The adult tax you charge is a turn-off to commissioning.

Well, and honestly, I think it's a bit silly to make a big deal out of straight-up porn, but then do weird fetishy non-porn stuff for people. Macros stomping micros might not be obvious porn persay, but it still is to those people~! A lot of the fetishy stuff you do is basically porn anyways, just with no dicks visible -- is tantamount to it, I feel.

yeah, the initial price increase on reopening adult was specifically to avoid getting those commissions unless someone REALLY wanted em. 'twas entirely on purpose to kill off that end of the spectrum... but as i've always known, fetishes know no bounds, and more innocent looking artwork that i can draw in front of my little cousins and parents still ended up being some form of smut.

Yeah, everything is porn to someone in some way, which has made things weird for a long time.

I straight up did not want to do smut anymore, and closed em out. I sorta eased them back in with high pricing because i still wanted to avoid em, and again i end up with the stuff anyways. at least with feet it's that much easier to feign innocence when people walk into the room/keep my face from piercing my tablet hahaha.

my living situation has changed very drastically as of late, and so the (what I consider, because it is most universally accepted as/has to be uploaded under the category of) adult art has had its tax dropped substantially, as availability is no longer such a massive issue.

What do you charge for straight up smut these days, anyways~? Just out of curiosity; I'm not sure what the existing premium is, as it is...!

What is a price range you would suggest?

It's really just the adult tax that's annoying, if you charge the same price for the same complexity it'd probably be more fair even if that meant raising your clean stuff pricing. In a way I view artists who charge an adult tax as "I don't like drawing adult commissions and will rush/slop it" (even if that doesn't end up being true).

I considered that for a bit; removing the tax but adjusting everything accordingly


and yeah, the first part is true, the second part about rushing/slopping it is impossible. it's actually a problem i have in a general sense that i put my all into every level of commission and end up taking a bit longer than i should 9.9; i can at least guarantee the pic will be as good as i possibly can make it at that time.

Take commission down time in streams to practice new skills and techniques instead of a bunch of doodles you already know how to do. Like backgrounds?

Hmn, maybe.. probably worth a try, though failing at it during a stream could scare people off xD but only the first few times.

I like your style in general. Rather like your micro stuff, usually cute, usually commissioned by someone. I tend not to follow streams.

The best thing to see on FA in my opinion, is just simply 'Content'. Im happy to see the artists i watch just post art!

Streams and such arent important to this browser :) thousands of people stream and its not possible for me anymore to keep up with just how many streams there are.
So i just keep up to date with my Submissions page and await completed works from my fav artists, i tend to skip sketches and focus on completed color work.

In short, i love an artist more, if he/she is more active.

Well i watch a lot of people and am very active, but over the lack of protection of artists against art thieves in 2008 i took 1 year break and admins were back in good righteous force.

But this 1 year break made my submissions page 120,000 large. Even after these years so much art is being posted at a rate difficult to keep up with especially with my work and arthritis, but i have all this time :) i still need to catch up on 43,000 submissions so iv been skipping sketches, WIPs and such.

I think you should draw what YOU want a bit more ^^

and yeah, I'd like to do more me-art as well. i've been getting better at finding time/motivation to do that as of late. i keep em on a separate account though, as i would rather keep my work separate from my fun P;

I really like your style (Biy a Pal will ya? is what originally got me to find you out), a selection of my favourite pieces - Kathy Katzu is pleased, Giftkata - Kalu, Peter Proposal, Tea time (I know there's a coloured version, but I prefer the line art for some reason!)

I'm not so keen on the micro/macro stomping stuff, but that's just not my taste, nothing to do with the way you draw them. Marco on its own can sometimes be funny.

I miss your pencil art - Kathy Katzu is pleased and I kind-of miss the porn, but I don't at the same time, if that makes any sense.

Best time for me to catch your streams is 8am UK-time when I get into work, weekends are worse for me as I go out and do things with my family.
