How Youtube can turn friends into enemies (possible drama)
I decided to make a journal about the strange events that happened to me yesterday, to hear what people think and perhaps help others avoid similar situations. Kinda fed up with the world and people in general at this stage... excluding true friends and people with common sense of course.
Yesterday a shitstorm of trolls attacked my Youtube channel with insults and threats. This happens commonly in my case, but last night's battalion was a bit bigger than usual. One of the attackers linked me to a video, and I easily realized that was the source of the trolls. Apparently some lame comedian took videos from my channel and created a hate clip against me, even convincing people that I'm insane and dangerous. I looked a bit through the comments, and was surprised to see friends I met in real life also spreading the insults and contributing to the trolling. I was able to trace multiple so called friends, who have been backstabbing me in discussion about the video, without having the courtesy to at least discus the problem with me first. Obviously I am done with those people... I have no tolerance to backstabbing.
The shocking discovery I made is that what you post on Youtube can have a powerful impact... even when it's videos that are insignificant and unrelated to your everyday life. Now my YT channel has been controversial for a while, since I do post some stupid and crazy things, though none intended to offend or anything out of the ordinary for what you find when looking for fail videos. I'm not going to link my Youtube here since I don't aim to promote every junk clip I do for boredom, nor does most of it represent me and how I interact with people. But again, I'm not aware of posting anything that horrible.
Conclusion: Next time you make a friend, consider showing them everything you do on the internet, as well as all posts haters make about you. Ok not really... that would be a dumb thing to do. But expect that if they find an attack made by trolls or something you posted which they don't like, today's friends will be tomorrow's haters. Also expect to have thousands of lunatics on your back if something you do gets posted on 4chan or pisses off some popular internet host... and that number isn't an exaggeration.

What I think would be a much better idea than to consider showing your 'new friends' everything you do on the internet, is maybe consider just where on the internet you're putting the stuff you do. Considering what I recall of your videos, a general public community was probably not the best place to post some of your more fetish/fandom orientated material. Some things are just better left unposted, or at the very least, posted anonymously.
Also, it's not just creations related to vore. One of the videos I was trolled on most is a MLP camera track, in which I did nothing but to animate a pony standing next to me in the room. People went crazy when they saw it o.o
What you say is correct however. I'm not surprised that I'm a target for trolls either, but I am surprised that things have gotten this bad. I mean sure... there are people who hate bronies, furries, etc. Sure, they come every now and then and post a bunch of insults. But outright harassment, death threats, and now even friends attacking me is more than anything it prompt for. Guess it's just how things and people are like...
I'unno, just seems that the more passionate/carefree you look, the bigger a target you are. I suppose it might be because your face is out there, it's like... I suppose a case of "If this guy proves to be a great trolling target, we could put it up on ED or something so anyone who hates what he does and lives near him can actually go torment him."
That's my train of thought. At 5AM. People are cunts. S'why you gotta be careful with what you do and think out what could happen and why. Think about who is around you, what they're like. If you're concerned about them, try and see how they feel. That's what I did. Now I draw dicks and gay furry stuff and no one I know cares. XP
Just an unfortunate pull from the hate I'd say. Gotta pick the right people to be around and the right places to express yourself around.
I'd hate not being able to put my animations on Youtube any more. So I'd rather look for ways to make them less targetable, and keep horrible people away. I'm starting to get better at animating, so at some point they'll probably be good enough to not troll :)
I also don't remember any "fetish" videos, though. Maybe that makes a difference.
I would not have expected the betrayal by some friends triggered by a troll.
I'm sorry for what happened.
(I hope that the translation is good)
The translation is very good. If it's automated, you have a good translator. Certainly better than Google translate, which makes me laugh till I fall on the floor whenever I use it :3
I use google traslator, is the reason why I'm afraid of distortions.
I usually translate from Italian to English, then translated it into Italian for correcting errors. I'm afraid that some errors go unnoticed.
(but I need the translator to write)
