What would the guests have to do in the chapters ? Is it a surprise or... ? O_o

Not stupid at all, m'dear! It will be different for every chapter but for the most part they will be "extras." Like background characters, peanut gallery sort of thing, with passing interaction. It is "sorta" a surprise what each chapter will need background characters for, as it will range from things like people walking down the street, classmates/coworkers, fellow sex dungeon patrons... y'know, the usual. XD

Hmm, sure! I'll make a special note of that for my own reference. If you're going to send a donation in a single go, just treat it like it's two donations (ie, since the guest slot minimum is $3, your donation should be a minimum of $6, so it's like 2 donations in one). Also if you could fill out a donation form for each character, that would help me out a lot. Would that be all right?

Three questions:
1) In the event that you don't have enough extras, can someone appear as an extra in several chapters?
2) Can I donate and enter someone else (with their agreement, of course) for the lottery?
3) Do we have any say in what our characters are saying/doing in the pages they appear? I'm thinking especially for sexual scenes, some people might not want their characters doing certain fetishes or doing anything with a random person.

Three answers:
1) 12 people is what I need for the current chapter. There will eventually (hopefully) be 11 chapters, but right now I'm only worrying about what I need for this one. When it comes time for me to start the next chapter down the line, I will open a new lottery once I know how many guest slots are available (after manuscripts and drafts are done).
2) That would be fine, but keep in mind that it's "one donation, one character." As in, if you give me a ref for more than one character, I will only use one of them if you win a lottery spot. But if you want to use someone else's character for your donation, that's fine so long as you have their permission.
3) On the contribution form there's an area to remark about whether you'd prefer the characters not be in sexual situations or anything like that. Overall though the activities of the guest characters are up to me, and for most of the chapters they will not be sexual. The chapters where I do need characters for sexual situations, I will announce it and make sure everyone is aware.

I should also mention for #3 that if someone's character wins a slot, I will contact them to get information about the character, and if there are any specifics they would want for the situation. Like for example, if there's a scene in a restaurant, what would their character be eating, or if there's a scene in a school, what class would they be in. Things like that.

I have a few questions.

First, what is a "signal boost?" I think you've mentioned this in a past journal, but I've forgotten what it is. How is it different than a normal donation? (Ok, fine that's two questions in one!) XD

Secondly, when you say that the setting is "modern/realistic," what are the unacceptable physical features for an extra? For example, I don't have a reference, but my character is a winged mammal. Is that too unrealistic?

Thirdly, if we do select to be on the "thank you" page, can we request that you use only our FA user names?

1a) Signal boost is like you advertising for me. Through journal or submission, or what-have you. Any non-monetary help, really.
1b) The main difference is that donations are what gets you a spot on the guest lottery. Both will guarantee a place on the "thank you" page, but signal-boosters only aren't eligible for the lottery (unless they donate as well)
2) By modern/realistic, I mean that if your character exists in a fantasy universe, (for example, medieval magic universe, or something like Star Trek), then I might have to change their clothing and things to have them fit in. Also if a character is macro/micro/hyper, I will have to make them a "normal" size, but I will also try to find a way to honor the character as well (like tall or short, or using a macro character on a billboard so they still appear big, something like that).
3) I was planning on using only usernames or 'sona names (unless a person specifically requests otherwise).
