the tournament is in trouble :(

UPDATE: Only 2 spots left to fill!
as of right now. I have received money from only 5 participants. The tournament, which was supposed to start 2 days ago, is in need of new participants.
I have 3 open slots, if I can fill at least 2 of them I will continue the tournament as planned. if not, the tournament will be cancelled and all participants who have paid into it will be refunded their money in full. This is NOT what I want to do. I want to have this tournament go the distance and be enjoyable for all.
ENTRY DEADLINE EXTENSION: DO OR DIE DATE IS NOW OCTOBER 31, 2013. IF I DO NOT HAVE A MINIMUM OF 7 ENTRANTS PAID, THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE CANCELLED

Here is a reminder of the critical points of the tournament, then a breakdown of the prizes.
The Tournament:
- Only $20 CAD to enter your character.
- enter your character by sending an email to jdanielreilly@gmail.com, with the Subject line: A New Challenger Has Arrived
- your email should include a Ref Sheet (or detailed description) plus a written description of your character's battle style, weapons used, magics, etc
- You don't have to do any work past that
- Match-ups are selected at random each round.
- a picture of your character facing off against another entrant's character will be drawn, by me, and posted on FurAffinity. Voting will be done in the comments section, where anyone can vote for one or both entrants. the winner will be the one with the most votes. that character will move onto the next round.
- 3rd place will be determined in a match-up between the two characters that did not advance to the final round
The Prizes:
All Entrants:
Everyone who enters the tournament will receive a Laminated Bookmark featuring their entered Character. Also you will be emailed all high resolution appearances your character makes in the tournament match-ups.
3rd place:
1 Laminated Traditional Badge, with choice of Lanyard or Retractable clip.
2nd Place:
In addition to getting the 3rd place prize, 2nd place will also receive a Marker Commission from me with up to 2 characters.
1st Place:
In addition to all 2nd place prizes, the tournament champion will also receive a 3 PAGE COMIC chronicling their character's rise through the tournament.
