History of Kitta's Situation + A Current Update

Purpose: to condense what has been going on since then until the present without a need to link to lots of now outdated journals. All this information is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
A History of Kitta's Situation: August 2012 - present
Who is Kitta?
kitta1652 Kitta has been the love of my life and my fiancee since Valentines Day 2011. He fell on troubled times so out plans to make a future for ourselves have been on hold.
He is 26, male, and lives in Kentucky and is part of
kentucky-furs.
What happened?
Since August 2012 calling
Kitta1652's life rough is the understatement of my life time.
Kitta sustained a painful injury to right ankle and foot and he was terminated from his job at a warehouse in August 2011. In November 2012, we found out part of the problem was that he suffers from gout flareups: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/gout/DS00090. Kitta usually has to walk with a cane and can usually walk or stand up for 20 minutes before he has to sit down or lean against me due to the pain. He also has several mental issues. More details can be found in his own words here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5100030/
Even with medicine and rest, he is unable to work since the bulk of the jobs here for unskilled labor jobs in this area require standing or walking for 8-12 hours a day. He filed for disability in November 2012. He hired a caseworker after being denied once and reapplied. He had a hearing in September 2013. He does not know the results of the hearing yet despite multiple times contacting his caseworker. It is just a waiting game now.
Currently he has less than $1 in loose change and his Paypal is empty. His cars's fuel level is below 'E'. He has racked up several bills which he is unable to pay for several months. He fears facing going to collections. More details on these bills is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5134544/ He also needs to fix his car's but it would cost an estimated $600 for parts/labor. The issue with the car is the electronic display on his dashboard is burned out - so routine maintenance like when to change the oil is a guessing game.
In case he does not receive disability, Kitta has been looking for a job over the last several months. He has been applying everywhere imaginable that we can think of that may be hiring for warehouse work, food service, gaming, or computer technician (which is what he was trained to do) for at minimum part time. In the last few months he was interviewed for a job that would allow him to work from home at a call center but he was not hired.
What about his family/friends?
The vast majority of his family and friends are unable to help and have mostly given up on Kitta. These people fall in one of two categories. One, they want to help but cannot afford it. These many people are already stretched too thin to help (especially due to their jobs cutting hours or they are also unemployed but have to support their families somehow). Two, they could afford to help but refuse to. The common excuse boils down to old money ideals. They turn out to be too full of pride or too out of touch on how the working world works to willingly give him any help or provide a sliver of positive emotional support.
How about his current situation?
So, since September with his car insurance due on October 15th, Kitta has been trying to sell a well maintained and upgraded Acer laptop for $200 USD OBO (or best offer). So, far there has been only one serious offer but the buyer did not follow through (reason unknown).
Photos/Details about laptop are here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5196131/
He did receive a temporary loan to pay for one month of car insurance but needs to pay is back soon.
The only food pantry available in his county, we visited last week. Unfortunately, he does not qualify to receive any other help than a one time emergency assistance package which was used up immediately. All other suggestions from friends/family to get him the medical, financial, housing, and food assistance he needs has fallen flat (since he has no money or does not meet the basic qualifications) or turned out to be a huge wild goose chase for nothing over the last year.
As of October 27th, he is 7 days away from having his Food Stamps/SNAP benefits renewed so he is dangerously low on food. As much as I would like to help him, I can only supply a trip to the grocery store but not money to buy anything. I am that low on money myself. :(
I am doing my best to help him. I am his main transportation to his doctors appointments, his disability coordinator, the grocery store, and visiting his family. I cook for him so has enough food to eat for a few days. I pay for his medicine when there is no other financial support. I restock some of the daily necessities of life like toilet paper. I do what I can, but I have limits on my resources, finances, and my abilities.
I want to help. What can I do?
