CONTEST DESCRIPTION: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to read all 15 chapters of my story Seventh Ring and answer 20 questions (all 15 chapters are linked in the profile of this account). This contest is open to anyone! You do NOT have to repost a link to this journal anywhere or be watching me, but you are eligible for extra "Points" if you do either of those things. c: But they are not a requirement to enter.
HOW TO ENTER: You read my story, copy/paste the questions below, answer them, then send both the questions AND your answers together to me via a note/PM. I will grade your questions and each question answered correctly earns you one "Point." Each Point earns you an entry in the contest. Be sure to tell me in your note if you are watching the account or if you posted a journal with a link to the contest so I can include those Points!
The list of eligible contestants will be made available to the public in this journal so you can see what numbers you are and verify your Points total.
RULES: I am the judge of this contest and the person who "grades" the answers. I will write out my answer key and compare the two while I grade, and if your answer does not match my answer, it will be marked incorrect. You MUST spell everything correctly, otherwise it will be marked as incorrect. None of the questions should have multiple answers or be open to interpretation, but on the off-chance that there is some question as to whether or not your answer is acceptable, I will consult with a secondary judge for their opinion. However, PLEASE respect my "grading" and do not get upset if something is marked wrong! This is meant to be a fun little contest, and unless you answer less than five questions correctly, you will still have a chance at the prize.
DRAWING: The winner will be selected via a random number generator and contacted privately (but the winner will be announced to everyone, of course!).
DEADLINE: You must note me with your answers by 11:59pm EST on November 5th, 2013!
PRIZE: One full-body, full-color digital drawing of one character done by yours truly! Something like this is a good idea of what I'd like to offer. The content/character can be whatever you want, and a minimal BG may be discussed. I reserve the right to refuse to draw anything I am not personally comfortable with, just FYI. But I'm pretty open to just about anything, so we can work it out!
GRADING:
20 out of 20 Questions Correct = 5 Points
17-19 Correct = 4 Points
11-16 Correct = 3 Points
6-10 Correct = 2 Points
5 Correct = 1 Points
1-4 Correct = 0 Points

oh my goodness ive read all chapters of your story, but I cant remember the details needed XD I remember the scenes but....dammit XD

I'm also hoping that even if people just skim through it all, maybe they will enjoy what they skim and actually go back and read it fully. If not, no big deal, this is all just for fun and to hopefully to bring in some new readers. c:
your story is filled with so much....wonderment! I truly see seven and the farm in my head when I read those lines. I was heartbroken when seven had that nightmare, and you have no idea how much I scream for seven and dammit I forget her name to just get together and be all happy and free.
your despriptions and the way u word things is truly an artform all on its own and I hope it becomes a graphic novel or even a chapter book series (whatever your plans I support it)
I so want to enter this contest, and not just cause I love your art (wich I soooo do) but because I adore this story a lot.
It means a lot to know you guys enjoy reading it, as honestly, I don't normally like to share my writing at all. I'm not happy with it most of the time and don't feel "professional" enough to try and tell stories through this medium, but I have no other outlet and just wanted to try it. I don't have a ton of fans, but the ones I've managed to gather have been super supportive of me and my story, as well as my writing. And that seriously means a lot to me and makes me happy to know people take the time to do more than glance at drawings on this site. I know it's more work to sit and read something than it is to look at artwork, so it's awesome and encouraging for me to keep going.
