As some of you doubtlessly noticed, I have been filled to overflowing with joy for the past several months because of my wonderful girlfriend,  flamingwolfcat. Tonight on Skype she said something rather troubling:
[11:13:50 PM] Kitty: I might be going to jail
[11:14:00 PM] Nathan: :|
[11:14:08 PM] Nathan: How is that?
[11:14:58 PM] Kitty: Bc my fucking brother attacked me and I defended myself and my brother has a rare heart desease
[11:15:14 PM] Kitty: So I might be going to jail
[11:15:20 PM] Nathan: Nathan hugs
[11:15:39 PM] Kitty: I guess this is goodbye
[11:16:04 PM] *** Call to Kitty, busy. ***
[11:16:13 PM] Nathan: I love you more than anything.
[11:16:13 PM] Kitty: I can't talk
[11:17:25 PM] Nathan: Nathan kisses you. "I will be praying. All my friends will be praying. My family will be praying."

Any and all prayers would be greatly appreciated.

[11:26:23 PM] Nathan: You are worth waiting for. You might not believe it, but it's true. I will do that if I need to.
[11:28:25 PM] Kitty: Hun god would never let me into heaven for murder
[11:28:41 PM] Kitty: I am better off being alone
[11:28:46 PM] Nathan: God will let you in.
[11:28:51 PM] Nathan: God will let anyone in.
[11:28:57 PM] Kitty: Bye my love

[11:29:06 PM] Nathan: And if you were defending yourself, it's not murder. You know this.
[11:29:55 PM] Kitty: I hit my brother in the chest and he might die in his sleep that is murder
[11:30:35 PM] Nathan: No, it's only murder if your wish when you hit him, deep in your heart, was for him to die.
[11:31:22 PM] Kitty: I told him that I hope your wire breaks and you die
[11:33:42 PM] Nathan: Nathan is crying
[11:33:50 PM] Nathan: I still love you.
[11:34:10 PM] Nathan: And I'm still not convinced it was murder. It still sounds like rage.
[11:34:54 PM] Kitty: It doesn't matter if he dies I go to jail
[11:35:16 PM] Nathan: You going to jail won't make me stop loving you.
[11:35:48 PM] Kitty: It just means that I'm a murder
[11:37:21 PM] Nathan: No, it still won't be a murder and you won't be a murderess. Even if you go to jail for accidentally killing your brother in a rage.
[11:37:29 PM] Nathan: And even still, I will love you.
[11:37:42 PM] Nathan: And even so, God still loves you more than I do.
[11:38:14 PM] Kitty: God will look down on me with disgust
[11:38:53 PM] Nathan: God will forgive you. Just ask for it; Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead exactly so that you could be forgiven for things like this.
[11:39:23 PM] Nathan: That is the entire point of being a Christian; not that we are sinless, but that while we are sinners God still took us, and we said yes.
[11:40:04 PM] Kitty: I don't deserve to be forgiven
[11:40:20 PM] Nathan: None of us do, that's what makes it forgiveness.
[11:40:48 PM] Nathan: Do you know something that happened when I was six? My parents had another baby. I hated not being the center of attention.
[11:41:07 PM] Nathan: I tried to kill my little brother. I wished he would die so I could be the youngest again, be the favorite again.
[11:41:20 PM] Nathan: I didn't succeed, and nobody noticed, but in my heart I was a murderer.
