B: Inspect Glowstalk

The sudden sight of a faintly glowing sprout allows your physical needs to be replaced by an even more important mental need: curiosity. If you were to guess, it had been around four hours since you had planted the tiny seed into the ground, yet it had already grown out to the open air and was up at least a few inches. With Mora's lessons in herbal attributes, you knew that it took at least a few days and plenty of care for normal plants to get this far, yet this Glowstalk plant already looked like it could be harvested for some of it's magical goop. You wonder for a moment weather it would truly ready to be harvested by nightfall or if you'll simply have to wait until tomorrow.

Come to think of it, you haven't really considered how to properly harvest it. You know from experience that the protective membrane is thin enough to create a small slit at the base, allowing Glowstalk Essence to be collected, but you don't know how to close the opening after collecting enough. Knowing the results of failing to stop the bleed, you realize that it would be very impractical to grow a new Glowstalk every time you need a bucketful of its fruit. As such, you start considering ways to seal the membrane again after cutting it. You sit cross-legged on the dirt in front of the sprout and go into a little "thinking mode" state, trying to figure out exactly what to do about keeping it from deflating when you try to harvest it later.

You sit there thinking for maybe ten minutes, but the best you can come up with is trying to use the Glowstalks magical properties in some way to reform the membrane. Thinking that hard made your head hurt a bit, and standing up again just a bit too fast made you dizzy. Seems your brain isn't going to be doing such heavy activity again any time soon.

Upon standing up and regaining your bearings, your legs begin to clench and unclench, your body coming to the forefront of your attention once again. You SERIOUSLY need to pee all of a sudden, you realize. Time to stop fooling around with magic and plants, and try to find a place to urinate in peace. You might be able to make it back home in time if you hurry.
