Terms of Service for Fluffing Tails Creations

Commissioning Me
In order to commission me, the buyer MUST be of legal age (18 years or older).NO exceptions!! If you are NOT of legal age, please get a Parent or Guardian to make the purchase for you!
Once the TOS (Terms of Service) has been acknowledged and nonrefundable down payment has been received, the order will have a placement set in our Que.<b> I will not begin working on your commission till the down payment, or full payment for small items has been payed.</b>
When emailing me for a quote you must provide your characters information [see Quotes], what type of product you are looking into buying and if you have any deadlines you want me to meet. I can not guarantee ANY deadlines given, as things do happen and can happen abruptly, I will take buyer deadlines into sincere consideration but I'm not obligated to meet them. These are works of “art” and quality will suffer to rush.
If you need / want a suit by a certain date for a Convention, It completely depends. If your convention is one month away, and you want a head, paws, tail, and feet. It's not going to happen. If it's 3 months away, I might be able to make it in time. I do still go to school and if I'm not doing homework, its working on these projects. Most of the time my working hours is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'm one person working on these, and I don't have any help at the moment.
Fluffing Tails Creations retains the right to deny any order under any circumstance. I also have the right to cancel any orders due to rude buyer behavior, or difficulty. They will be refunded everything besides the down payment upon denial /cancellation.
Quotes
When interested in a request for a quote we will need the following information.
-Buyer's information - Name, Address, etc.
-Character information: [PG reference sheet ONLY]
Type of Product
Small Orders [Paws, Feet, Arm Sleeves, Tails, ect.]
Fursuit Accessories: [Eyes, Noses, Claws, Paw pads, ect.]
Large Orders [Partial Suits, Head Only, etc.]
[Some of these items are no available at the moment, like paw pads, noses, and claws. I have not gotten the time to make my own to use/ sale.]
[Items like these for now will be bought from DVC which takes 2 -3 weeks to ship items. I plan on buying in bulk but not right now]
The Quoted price for the project will only last for ONE month, before subject to change. Upon receiving the Quoted price, you will get an expiration date when that Quote becomes invalid. After the Expiration date, you will need to be RE-QUOTED BEFORE commissioning Fluffing Tail Creations.
Payment
For large orders ONLY, there will be a NON-Refundable deposit / down payment. This deposit / down payment will be 30% of the final quoted price and it MUST be paid off within 30 days of the Quote.
I will NOT ship your order until the full payment is received, even on Pre-Made items.
If I do not receive any form of response or payment from the buyer within the first month after commitment to the commission (trying to contact via email and or FA notes), I will expire the Quoted price. You will not receive a Slot on our Que at this point.
If the buyer can not be contacted during payment planned commissions, (trying to contact via email and or FA notes ), Or evade paying the remaining balance (ei. breaking payment deadlines more than three times) I reserve the right to deem the project as abandoned and will remove the name from the Que slot and change it as Pre-made auction project. All payments given at this point will be refunded EXCEPT for the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit / down payment PLUS a $100 service charge on large items
NOTE: The service charge is ONLY if you break a committed contract, or if 35% or more of the project is completed, with Fluffing Tails Creations.
I understand life happens but PLEASE keep in mind I am willing to work out payment extensions and minimal payments. Since we do not start your project until all payments, or 30% deposit/down payment, is received, time is easier to work with than wasting it.
I will try to work with every customer to the best of my ability and can hold onto a project for 8 months. ( for payment plans. Large items ONLY. ). Depending on a customer's individual situation we reserve the right to a refund solution that may result in NO refund what-so-ever.
Large Items are the ONLY things available for Payment Plans. Small orders MUST be paid in full within 48 hours upon bidding / buy-out / commissioning. Failure to reach this time limit on Small orders will result in receiving NO refund what-so-ever!!!
Payment is ONLY excepted via the following options -
Large Orders / Items -
PayPal ONLY
IF you must pay via cash, or check the money MUST BE MAILED INA SEALED envelope.
Cash must be put in a normal envelope, and then placed in a brown/orange envelope and mailed. This way it is not obvious you are mailing money.
For checks it must be folded into a piece of paper, like how you would fold a 8.5x11 latter placed inside of that, and mailed to me.
Please if you are mailing by check for any type of product that the check dose no bounce. IF the money dose not go threw. Your order will be put on lock till either the payment can be made, or I cancel your order.
Small Orders / Items -
PayPal [HIGHLY preferred]
Western Union [A money order via Western Union ONLY NOTE: I have never used Western Union so any money orders via Western Union will be brought up and taken care of via my Dad. He's my fall to guy with stuff I am unsure of.]
All types of payments are welcomed BUT if they are not paypal, or cash, all other types of money will be looked at and agreed upon if I will take it or not. If payments are via anything but paypal all projects for that order will take longer to process and complete.
Work in Progress Photos
* I will post pictures of finished heads, hands, tails, and feet normally on my furaffinity account , unless, we need to get feedback from the commissioner. Feed back pictures will be by email. I rarely use skype because it pulls to much bandwidth. If I am on, its via internet browser.
* I will send work in progress pictures of the head from start to finish to make sure the commissioner is happy with the expression, eyes, etc before I start to fur the head.
* If you are concerned about the types of furs we will use, we can send you photos/links of them before we begin work.
Cancellation/Alteration
Once a project is started, changes may not be made to the design.
I reserve the right to cancel any commission at any stage of the process if the commissioner is rude, threatening, or otherwise unreasonable. Unless we agree to them, no changes can be made to a commission once I have purchased the supplies.
The customer may cancel the project at any time. The balance (minus the down payment) can be refunded, or the full amount paid can be credited toward another project. I reserve the right to complete the canceled project any way I choose and sell it at auction.
If you do not pay your monthly fees in accordance to our payment plan that is agreed to upon project acceptance and cannot keep good e-mail contact, we reserve the right to cancel your commission and refund you only what you have paid towards it, the deposit non-refundable. If for any reason something comes up that keeps you from being able to pay, simply e-mail us and explain the situation. Failure to do so will result in me assuming you just don’t want to pay, and your commission will be canceled.
There are cases where we may refuse a project. This could be due to time constraints, or the actual subject matter. As with many other commissioners, there are certain lines that we will not or can not cross. If we refuse a commission/project, the customer will be notified (with reason included).
Shipping
All our items are shipped through USPS , UPS or Fedex [USPS is my preferred mailing provider and everything will be shipped via USPS, but if the customer wishes for it to be mailed via UPS or Fedex it will be shipped by them, and shipping cost WILL be effected and changed.] with package tracking as well as insurance.
I do accept international shipping, however to have tracking for your package you need to pay for express shipping, which generally costs quite a bit more. Shipping prices are determined on a case by case bases as an additional fee to the agreed final suit costs and will depend on box size and weight, so must be determined at the very end. Your item will not be shipped until the entire project cost has been paid in full, including shipping.
[I have never shipped over seas before. So All shipments to over seas will be doubled checked to make sure they are good to go, which will take a little bit longer to get mailed out.
Once you have received your package from Fluffing Tails Creations, I am NOT responsible for any shipping cost on returned items. Customer is responsible for ALL shipping cost.
Warranty/Returns
Every item comes with a 30 day limited warranty covering workmanship and materials. Repairs or replacements will be made for free within this period.
Please note that the warranty will be null and void if:
*the item has been abused or used improperly
* the item has been altered in any way
* the item is soiled or has a smell, and has not been cleaned prior to return the customer has not cooperated with efforts to collect shipping insurance on an item that has arrived damaged (see below).
If damage was caused by shipping then please file a damaged product report to the post office. All items, unless requested not to, will have insurance on them which will help if they get lost, or broken on the way to your hands.
Package Insurance/Damaged Shipments
Packages are insured for up to the full value. [Unless the buyer wishes for no insurance for what ever reason]
If your package arrives damaged: First, do not unpack the box. Contact me immediately. I will contact the shipping company, who will send an agent to collect the damaged package and take it to an inspection center. The damage will be assessed, and the package will be returned to me so that we can repair the item, or otherwise deal with it.
There is no other way to claim the insurance, so please be prepared to undergo this procedure if your package arrives damaged. Failure to cooperate will void the warranty.
Please note that the procedure may be different for overseas deliveries, but I ask that you still contact me immediately at the first sign of damage, before unpacking the box.
Liability
Fluffing Tails Creations is NOT liable for any misuse while wearing my products that result in an endangerment to your health, or body.
If you purchase a suit from me, PLEASE take care of yourself while suiting! Drinking lots of water and taking breaks, having a handler and also knowing your own limitations is the BEST way to stay healthy while in a fursuit!
Should you disregard your own health, cause any damage to your body, etc. I hold NO responsibility!
Also all products miss used and broken while in your care will not be fixed and will not be refunded.
EXTRAS
If you are getting a commission from me. I will email you a contract that I will have you sign. You will either have to sign it digitally with your mouse, or print it off, sign it, and either mail it to me, or scan it in and email it back to me.
I MUST have a documentation saying that you have read, and understand the TOS and that you agree to the details we have agreed on for your item.
Once the documentation has been signed no changes [unless we agree on it] will be made to the product.
[TOS can be changed if what has been written dose no make sense or needing to be changed by unfortunate events happening causing them to need to be changed-]
