I have tried to take commissions to get some money together so we can have at least some thing for rent, but That has not worked at all. I guess no one cares to get cheap stories. I will still be open for commissions, but now I have to do something I was really not wanting to do.
I am going to ask for donations. >.> I tried commissions first so I wouldnt have to ask, but that failed horribly. So, if anyone would be willing to donate any amout to help would be nice. I would hate to have to try and find a place for me and my kids to go to just before Christmas.
If no one has paied attention to any of my other journals, I have been on medical leave for a few months now. I was supposed to be getting back to work, but they pulled some bullshit, saying what I gave them from my doctor wasnt enough. They had to have an exact date as to when I was going to be back to work. We had no idea when that was going to be because there was no way to know when I was going to get my voice again. I got the letter when I had been off of work for 2 months already, amd they gave me just a couple of days to get something sent in to them. I had to have it sent half way across the US to the big, main office in New York, and Im in Iowa. My doctor was on vacation that week, so I wasnt able to get in to see him till the first of the week. I had to see him because the nurse said that they had to know what he wanted them to say about my returning to work. So it was sent in late and I lost my job.
I have been job hunting, but its only been a few days since I found out I dont have a job anymore. Im going daily to job hunt, but, not surprisingly, I havnt heard anything yet. So, now Im stuck asking for help. Any little bit would be a great help. We need a total of $1000 to pay rent. I am trying to find ways to get money together, and not just on here. Ive called around to agencies that help with rent, but none have had any money for a few months now, so they cant help us.
If you put your user name in the message, or send me a note with the amount you sent, I will do a story as a thank you. If you want paid back, I will as soon as I can. I will put a footer on my journal and keep a list there. With the way this year has gone, and my shit luck at commissions, I dont hold out hope for any donations. But I have to try something. I dont want my kids homeless for Christmas.
