I live in a mobile home that I am paying for I can't afford a real house. I call any home a house, I use art as a secondary back up income and have been for 9 years. The price of rent depends alot on where you live, and moving across the country isn't always an option for people. Your simplistic idealism is highly flawed, sorry. Also, while I understand your trying to educate people into being more independent away from others and trying to get people to stand on they're own two feet, taking such polarized views and putting them down so harshly will not educate them, but slip them further into a victim mentality.

Hell nah, I can still piece together enough to feed my family for an extra day or two if I can. That's exclusionary to think you can survive by a specific standard and push all others aside. Not all people are as fortunate to have a stable job where you get to sell off other people's work and make a living.

Seriously dude, think before you speak. I used to live with her, and unfortunately I had to go live with my grandmother since she has medical problems. She tries every freaking day at trying to get another job. I've watched her do so on snag a job as well. In fact, I'm the one who even suggested that site to her a long time ago. She puts me down as references, and I've gotten some calls from companies and thought that she had gotten the job. To say that this is her fault? What the fuck is the matter with you? She tries every single day. ._.

And, just so you know, in our county, there are HARDLY any jobs available. You don't live where we are. We live in a horrible area with not a whole lot to go around.
