Playoffs announcement!
Tiebreakers for the regular season are as follows:
More Overall Wins
Less Overall Losses
Number of Weekly Victories
Number of Perfect Weeks
Number of Hero Picks
Here is how the playoff system is going to work:
-While there will be a regular season winner based on total wins those victories won't carry you through the playoffs. You'll have to use your prediction prowess to get you through each of the four Playoff weeks if you want to be crowned the Season Champ.
-The top 10 players with the most wins in the Regular season get into the playoffs (using the tie-breakers mentioned above if necessary).
-During Wildcard Weekend those 10 players will compete in a free-for-all weekend similar to those of the Regular Season with the 8 best predictions moving on to a single elimination bracket-style run to the finish. Should tie-breakers be necessary we will be using the formula explained below.
-These 8 remaining players will recieve seeding #1-8 based on their regular season records. Bracket will be a standard setup of 1vs8, 2vs7, 3vs6, 4vs5.
-Brackets will not be moved or re-seeded.
-Since score predictions will be involved those will be the tie-breaker. Wins come first but ties are decided by the lowest total difference between your predicted score and the actual score combined between all games of that week ((difference between your home score and the actual home score)+(difference between your away score and the actual away score))

The first image is the breakdown of the score differential tie-breaker and the second image is the tie-breaker in action; thanks Kai and Paskhowl for your help with the test!
(If you notice in the second image Kai would have won this matchup because he went 4-0 for the week against Paskhowl's 2-2, but -if- id had come down to the score tie-breaker Paskhowl would have won.
-All that's left is to ask you guys if you would prefer, since the playoffs will be a bit more competitive, to submit notes/emails only instead of making your predictions for the week public in a journal? Let us hear your thoughts on this topic!!
And if you haven't yet don't forget to make your picks for this week! Week 16!

All sounds good to me. I'm not fussed either way about private vs public picks. If someone's copying tips, they should be GDog's! :P
