Hate to say it, but its really old news and quite frankly unsurprising when you look at the background of their founder & president. Sick company run by sick insane people. What I do find surprising is how many people actually believe they're out to save animals.

Yeah, Penn and Teller did a special on this where they exposed all this quite a while ago. It's ugly stuff to say the least. PETA is definitely pure evil, no question. That 96 percent number is insane. Most kill shelter employees will tell you they don't kill even half that number, and they're no where near as well funded as PETA.

I don't remember Penn and Teller exposing PETA as animal killers. I thought there episode of Bullshit just betrayed them is ineffectual people who had no understanding of animals.

There's a clear part where they bring up the industrial size freezer and explain the only reason for an animal shelter to have a freezer that large on premises.

Yeah, it was bad enough when it was revealed that their kill rate was higher than most shelters, but when they never even make it to the shelter, they have gone too far.

They shouldn't be allowed to exist. -.-

I have been telling people this for years. Since I used to be on an advisory panel to the city of Memphis concerning animal laws, I have known about the evils of PETA. Peta is totally against ALL pets and domesticated animals like cows, chickens, etc. They think that all animals should be released to the wild, and if they survive, then they should survive as a wild species. They also are totally against eating any animal or animal byproducts. That means VEGAN. While I am not against vegans, I am against someone who tries to FORCE others to do as they do. They are considered a domestic terrorist group by the government. There is a federal law that makes it a crime to release animals at pet shows. This was done because PETA terrorists would run through dog/cat shows opening all the crates to release the animals "into the wild". Many pets were lost and/or killed because of this. Nice group, eh?

That... Does not surprise me. PETA is really just...weird. I remember seeing this game they have for kids where Pokemon rise up against their oppressors, but it's just... a messed up thing to be teaching kids.
