Any Georgia residents looking for a dog?

And now, a journal.Warning: Intense levels of crazy may be present. Prepare yourself for potential scarring.
My father picked up a dog today that almost got hit by a car, and he couldn't let animal control take him because they told my father they would euthanize him. But we have too many animals as is, so we can't take care of him. He's a very friendly smallish dog, but also more than a bit skittish because he's been abused. (He has scarring around his neck where someone left a too-small collar on him for a long time.) He's great around other dogs (he didn't act aggresively towards my dogs, and they're crazy), but he obviously needs someone who'll be able to give him love and play with him. If anyone is interested, or knows somebody who is interested, please let me know? I don't want him to be put down because he really is a sweet dog.
If nobody wants him, we'll find a shelter to take him to, since we obviously can't keep him. xD
