Here is a written ref for my species, Fruitalus. :3
Brief Description: Cat like creatures from the land of Fruittaria. When they are kittens they look like a feral cat with different color pelts. They secrete a sticky, edible substance from their tails. The flavor of the substance is determined by the color scheme of their pelts. (eg. Red: cherry, dark blue: blueberry, bright blue: blue raspberry, pink: strawberry, etc.) This substance is what they feed their babies with. As Fruitalus grow up, they turn into anthros.
Fruitalus can speak like a human and like a cat, and they tend to purr their words. Their personalities are as vast as humans', however, they tend to be quite curious creatures. The substance that they secrete from their tails will continue to produce, as long as the Fruitalu is well nourished and healthy. You can over work their glands, and cause them to go "dry", so don't "milk them" too much (especially if they are nursing). They have excellent night vision, and sensitive hearing and smell (just like a cat). If you cut thier whiskers, they will loose their balance (also like a cat).
Their diets consist of fish, rodents, milk and sweets. They also eat the substance that their tails produce, even as adults. They love to explore, being curious as they are. They will also eat just about any meat. Just like humans, some Fruitalus can be quite finicky, where as others are not.
They live in "Clans". Clans are like families and can consist of an Alfa male (males are called "Toms"), and an Alfa female (females are called "Mollies" unless they are pregnant or nursing, then they are "Queens"), and their kits. They can also consist of two alfa males or two alfa females, and those clans can adopt kits from fruitalus eho cant raise them or feel they'd be better with a different clan. When the kits grow up, they form their own clans, though they do visit, and in some cases, more than one clan will live together.
I may add more about them later. Lol. These are going to be in a story I am writing. :3 I may let some people use them, but I dunno. If I do, they'd have to pay a fee since these are going to be in an actual story.
