I haven't named them yet. Plz don't steal my sweetass ideas that are so original omg. SUCH ORIGINS. JK. No but srsly.

Long prehensile tails with soft elastic sacks that contain a neurotoxin. The sacks are pretty durable but can be punctured with enough force. Thick silky fur hangs from the end to sheathe the stinger.

Stinger tips are hollow like a needle and often, but not always, have back hooks. Ripping one out would be incredibly painful. ____ have the ability to flatten these barbs to remove their stinger after the neurotoxin has been administered. Stinger tips can come in many forms, having no more than three tips, but are always hollow.

____ feed off of the emotions of others. They do not have the capability of feeling unless they feed. They have no teeth because they don't eat material things. Instead their mouths are filled with prehensile tentacle like tongues, usually between 2 and 6. Having a single tongue is very very rare. These appendages also have a less potent form of the toxin and can be administered through epidermal contact. ____ usually have a favourite emotion they like to feed off of. Could be anything from jealousy to anger to utter depression or even joy and pleasure. Upon feeding, the ____ gets a surge of this emotion and radiates that emotion for about 3 days. Also they make an awful wet writhing sucking sound while they eat because I'm a sick fuck and I like it ok.

They use their stinger to incapacitate their target, the neurotoxin working almost immediately to start breaking down the emotion into something it can extract. The tongues have tiny flecks on them that absorb the chemicals. The ____ does this by inserting the tongues into orifices around the head, usually the mouth. This does not kill the target but leaves them incapacitated for a few hours and devoid of having any emotion whatsoever for 2-5 days depending on how long the ____ fed.

___ will do whatever it takes to bring out their favoured emotion in the victim. Fear, agony, even lust. There are very few of these creatures who are inherently violent but there are some. And there are times when they'll repeatedly harrass a certain victim if the emotional surge lasted longer than normal.

Eyes are always empty black pools with a single tiny glowing slit as the pupil. These come in a variety of colours, some rarer than others.

____ are about one and half times the size of a normal human, averaging at about 7.5 feet. and maxing out at 9 feet. They have powerful forearms which they use to climb with, generally just pulling themselves up things and using the dewclaw on their feet for gripping.
