Wannagih Guide [closed species]

This is a Guide for the Closed species, Wannagih.



Wannagih are usually peaceful and kind creatures, who collect lost souls and help them cross to the afterlife by returning them back to nature through them. The flower halo above their heads blooms thanks to the souls they help, as power is released by the soul when it passes on and is then absorbed by the Wannagih. The more in-bloom the flower, the more active they are. A Wannagih with a closed bloom will be very weak from a lack or essence received from souls. They can also feed off sunlight and water like normal plants, but this is just enough to keep them from wilting. They will remain sluggish and immobile like a plant until they receive essence from a soul.



Wannagih generally have a Flower like Halo, Horns and floral colors. The kind of flower that makes their halo depends of the personality and spirit of each Wannagih and it can be any kind. They live in remote ares in forest or jungles where souls tend to naturally gather, although they can also be find in odd places like deep in the mountains or in abandoned cities. They however tend to have the same temperament as the flower they grow, some requiring lots of sun, others being very hardy in the cold or shady landscapes.



Wannagih may turn corrupted if they consume a soul rather than aid it to pass on , causing them to become hungry for more and will resort to anything to get more souls, even killing other living creatures. This will make they flower halo turn dark , poisonous or even rotten. Their features tend to also reflect this malice, as they become darker in color, grow claws or thorns, and large horns, making them appear more demon-like as the corruption continues.
