Western

-Smallest of the curataurs, thought to be because of limited food sources.
-Only ones with hoofed feet. The hooves are large and wide for climbing.
-Their fur is thick and plush. The double coat keeps them warm and dry.
-Horns have a four tine average.
-Small short ears often seen on animals in cold climates.
-Short, cat-like snout with a nose shape of a caprine.
-Communicates with high pitched chirps
-Omnivore
-Due to living among mountain peaks and high altitudes, the western curataur has developed large lungs and nostrils. They have a long, muscular body and shorter legs built for climbing and balance.
-They enjoy finding shelter in dark, cool caves
-Has the largest canine to head size ratio.
-Their primary sense is a sharp sense of sight.

Eastern

-Largest of the curataurs
-They have long, dexterous paws to aid in climbing.
-Claws are retractable.
-Their fur is a short, single coat with long tufts on the collar, chest, paws and tail.
-Longer, thinner single stalked horns.
-Long dexterous ears on extremely mobile pivots.
-Longer, thin snout.
-They are the most vocal with a wide range of noises.
-Omnivore and occasional insectivore.
-Long dexterous tongue for eating fruits and insects.
-Lives among thick forestation, preferring tropical regions. The typical eastern curataur lives over half its life in the trees, and will mostly come down to feed and mate. Long, sensitive whiskers line its snout and ankles, helping it traverse its habitat and find prey.
-Enjoys climbing and resting among the branches.
-Primary sense is hearing and feeling due to their average eyesight in the darkness of the forestation.

Southern
Tarot is a southern curataur

-Large, wide paws to make traversing on sand and ground easier.
-Short, dense, velvet-like fur to protect from sand, sun, and dirt.
-Tufts of long fur on forearms, chest, and end of tail.
-Curved thick horns
-semi-mobile triangular ears
-medium length squared snout.
-communicates with low grunts and barks
-Carnivore
-Lives among hot plains and desert. They have a keen sense of smell, and their ability to find water is often used by other creatures by following the curataur.
-Their body is thick and built for stamina.
-The most fussy about personal hygiene and will often be found lazily grooming.
-Enjoys lounging in the heat of the day.
