Do you just need a couple of weeks? I can skip ahead and come back to you when you're prepared if you like. If you think it's a bad idea to spend money on such things at all for a long time to come though, I understand and can close this spot entirely.

Hey! I'm up for it! Your art looks lovely, and I'd very much enjoy seeing my Allegretto come to life in your hands. At the moment, he's nothing but text, but I've also got a small reference sheet for colors and markings and such if that would assist in any way. I meant to get him commissioned before I deployed, but I guess my procrastination got the best of me and next thing I knew, I was on a C-140 to Afghanistan.

Anyways, money is no object in this matter, so whatever I need to pay to get your best of the best work, I'm up for it.

I still like one yes thou not sure if can aford it any more. could ya refer me to your prices again or give me a estimate on what a one char with no/simple back ground would be? and does a partial of another char count as 2? cuz second char would only be arm/mid section of another.

For a single character you're looking at 50, and shipping is an extra 4-6 dollars, depending on where it's headed, if you want it. As for whether or not it would count as a second character, sort of depends on how it's done, I'd have to hear the full description before I can really say for sure. :P Feel free to note me your idea if you wish!

Depends on what you want! Pictures start at 50, additional characters are 25, backgrounds vary but tend to be around 30.

That's the beauty of the system I'm working with right now. You don't necessarily have to be around just as they open. They stay open for an entire week, which gives you a nice chance to catch them... but even if you don't, you simply keep floating up the priority list until eventually you'll be guaranteed a spot if you ever catch me open.

As long as you check your inbox for journals at least once a week, if you can manage that, you're guaranteed a spot in the long run! :P

I admit it's a bit confusing, I may have to ditch this system sometime, but I want to give it a little time to settle first and see if it smooths out after resting a bit. Just know that your name is now on the list and as time passes you'll be more and more likely to get a commission when you ask for one. :P

Pretty much! When I open a commission journal, I'm looking for people who are actively ready to go. Of those people, I look for the highest people on -this- list, which is basically whoever has been waiting the longest.

This means I'll never come knocking on your door when you're not ready- you only have to try and get a spot when your finances are good to go. And if you try for a spot and are one of the 10 people to try who've been waiting the longest, you're in!
