Rosades
Closed Species
Rosades are a subspecies of gem collecting creatures that range in height from the size of a small cat to the size of a normal human adult, these are more human shaped and sized than their smaller animal-like counterparts. Generally around the size of small to young adult teenagers or children, these creatures are more arial based.
The eyes on their heads are simply a type of opal with the inset of their home stone (Their main stone that they have covering their body). There are no tear ducts in their eyes, simply acting as a fake eye. The tearducts they have are around the eye stones on their ears and the eye on their collarbone.
The fluff on their arms can expand into wings, while their large tails are used for storing gems and other precious stones found. Their horns are mostly curved or circular based, holding an orb of the stone from their initial birth in them mixed with different minerals, and some rare species even having clear glass orbs filled with different stones inside of them. They are born from large stone clusters, usually found in dark caves or deep underground. Once they 'hatch', they begin to grow as time progresses.
With each type of gem they come into contact with, they gain a small amount of power, the more stones the Rosades has, the more powerful it is, though their fur covers them usually for protection from poachers and humans that use them to sell or for medicines.
They can not see with the eyes that are on their heads - those are in fact a defense adaption and not real, the 'stone' on their chests and large stones on their ears are how they see and collect other gems when searching for them.
Faerrox
Closed Species.
New species concept with Faerox.
A faeroxx has no origin in name, but they are smaller than a cat, and extremely quick and nimble. Almost all of them are considered agile and not exceptionally powerful, though they have been known to practice types of telekinesis and telepathy with humanoid partners, should they be captured from the wild.
The 'mask' over their eyes is actually bone that's fused with the top of their heads like an extra armor plating of bone. Each mask is differently shaped depending on rarity, species, and breed. The ones with cracks or that are missing pieces or are even just very small (Some only cover their eyes) are exceptionally rare and are the most vulnerable because of their very soft cartilage built faces. There isn't much bone in the skull itself, it's a lot like an exoskeleton.
There's hollow sockets for all three sets of eyes, though the largest ones don't actually work and the ones on their shoulders do, generally always. Their whole body turns and are exceptionally flexible in order ot be able to see properly. The eyes on their shoulders allow them to see in all levels of light, though if the light is too bright, their eyes have actually been known to burn out of their sockets (Skull or shoulders).
Default, they have no mouths (I found a species that had this already and was inspired), but when they are exceptionally angry, their skin splits into glob-like pieces until the split forms a mouth of its own and becomes real. They have large sharp teeth, though most of the time it is hidden under the glop and only visible when they have their teeth bared or are biting into something. Teeth retract into their skulls and jaws, while their tongue is not a muscle, but an oozy-like structure similar to the skin that makes up their jaws and face.
They come in an array of colors, though celestial based, food based, and elemental based ones are extremely rare and are only one of each. These beings are considered Gods and can only be released during auctions and such.
They have bird-like, though more lizard like, feet in front, with regular two toed cat-like paws in the back. They do not have claws as they are not necessarily fighters or mele based creatures. They're exceptionally cunning and fox-like in that sense with exceptionally high levels of intelligence. They escape predators by simply using their telekinetic abilities or even simply 'flying' away by lifting themselves up and landing in trees.
They make chirping like sounds, similar to that of baby alligators when calling to their parents or mother, and purring, however they do not make any other sounds aside from a loud hiss if threatened or exceptionally angry.
All of them range in their levels of fluff, but they all have the following :
Four sets of eyes (Three sets working or less)
Ears can be any shape and size from large, to small, to folded, to scaly.
Large back manes.
Tails
Three toed raptor feet in front (Though no claws they have none sorry!)
Bone mask over their head
Optional features:
Can be any species (Cat, dog, ferret etc)
Large chest manes
Fur in general (Back manes required, scales can be used on the back, shoulders, neck, back of the ears, top of the head, and tail base)
Scales (See above)
Horns (Only small pointed ones, also usually seen on celestials)
