HOODIE COMMISSIONS - Opening April 3rd (important info!)
Well, it’s almost that time of year again… my semester’s almost done!
What does this mean? It means… HOODIES!
Well, sort of.
There are a few extenuating circumstances that won’t be resolved until around mid-May (nothing bad, just a change of scenery for a bit). This means I will only be open for FIVE slots, which should be completed/shipped by the beginning of May.
Hoodie commissions will open APRIL 3rd.
Another (reminder) journal will be posted on the day of.
To get a slot, you’ll need to send me an email at apoxon [dot] industries [at] gmail [dot] com
Please be sure to include:
- an accurate/up-to-date reference sheet and/or several images that clearly depict your character’s markings FRONT and BACK. SFW (Safe For Work) references are strongly preferred.
- what size shirt you normally wear (XS, S, M, L, XL, etc)
- if you have a particular color preference for hoodie liner (loud/vibrant/busy or subtle/single color/calm etc)
- what style cuffs you would like (regular - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8596701/
or thumb holes - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9585980/ )
- do I have your permission to post pictures of your hoodie online (either on my FA, or as work in progress/finished shots on twitter)?
- any allergies you may have (I’ll do my best to be sure I don’t bring your hoodie into contact with allergens, but it’s much easier to do this when I know what those allergens are)
- any additional information, questions, or concerns you have
(I have a hoodie FAQ section here: http://apoxon.livejournal.com/245433.html )
Please do not send me notes via FA- it makes working on your commission very difficult when the system goes down.
Hoodies start at $135 and go up based on size and complexity. Your quote is only valid for this round of hoodies.
Please note that I ask for a 50% non-refundable downpayment up front (for this round- to be completed by May), along with your measurements. Please please please send your measurements along with your downpayment.
Information on measurements and how to measure yourself for a hoodie can be found here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8345923/
If you’re having difficulty, I’ve also posted youtube tutorials with further explanation, here:

Hoodie quotes do not include shipping, however I am happy to provide you with a shipping estimate as well, if you include your city/state and/or post/zip code. Please note that I mail from Canada.
Because of the time-frame, you will be given 48 hours to respond to the quote (this includes your 50% downpayment, and measurements – please include your name on the paypal note, so I know who it’s from) before your slot is given to someone else.
CHEERS!

PS. As a heads up, any notes/emails sent BEFORE April 3rd will be ignored – don’t go jumping the line! :P

I've never sewn a pull-over hoodie, but it's definitely do-able :3
Just need the head circumference (at the widest point).
It would almost be like having a fur suit but at a much more affordable price! (And easier to put on and take off!)
wing-sleeves do require a lot of extra time and fabric, so they are more expensive (at least $50 extra).
so as for my question, is this an annual event with you? And are you planning to do this again on a future date?
typically, it IS an annual event (i'm a student and this is my summer job). :3
thanks dude!
I may not have the money for /this time/, but in the near future.
Also, if you'd like to know lemonbrat's quote as a comparison, I can note you it.
I'm hesitant to know lemonbrat's quote, since i'd rather not undercut/overcut, I'll base my pricing on estimated time and materials. :3
