Pansexual VS Demisexual

Found this one on google.
It's a Q&A from another forum/blog thing.
"So, I've been trying to figure this out for some time, and was hoping maybe you guys could help? I'm not really clear on the difference between pansexuality, and demisexuality? Sometimes I see similar definitions for them both, and I'm not really sure if there is a difference, or if I'm just missing out on something. I'm thinking that demisexual is like an add-on term (like, being a homoromantic demisexual) but, I'm not sure! Hope I don't sound dumb, hahaha"
"Pansexuality and demisexuality are two completely different things. A pansexual person is a person who experiences sexual attraction to all genders (as opposed to bisexual, a person who experiences attraction to two genders: pansexuals may like people who are “in between” male and female as well, or people who are neither, basically anyone - no matter whether they’re male, female, genderqueer and such). Demisexuality means being sexually attracted to a person only after you have formed an emotional bond - not necessarily a romantic one - with the person involved. The two terms are NOT mutually exclusive: you can be either, both, or neither. Hope this answers your question :)"

I actually identify as a Panromantic Demisexual, because I don't get sexually attracted until I know the person quite well and have an emotional bond already.
Never knew the exact def. of the word.
Because a Pansexual/Asexual would translate into being someone who is sexually attracted to people regardless of gender/sex, but never experiences sexual attraction ever.
But, aren't Asexuals ones that are not intersted in sex? I didn't know that it fell in the lines of "sexual attraction".
It's not that they're not -interested- in sex, because some asexuals do have sex. They just don't get attracted to someone sexually.
As usual, you are the most informative person I know. Thank you.
I'm glad I can help people is all. :3
There's generally a term for everything these days. I think I'm going to, personally, drop the entire "Genderfluid Pansexual" and call myself "Human"
Shall we just get a blender, put all these labels into it and see how much mess we can come up with?
I think that's one thing people lose sight of. "Human". I'm not saying it for the sake of those "Human rights" people, but more or less that we need to stop, entirely, with the labels. Not only does it get confusing, but, it puts a strain once in a while with not only relationships (friend or otherwise) but peoples lives.
Reminded of an essay "Keep Your Identity Small", about how each additional group one identifies with narrows who you are and what you can be, kind of a psychological trap. http://www.paulgraham.com/identity.html
i could argue that im pansexual, and i am only 'attracted' to one gender,
i could argue that i am pansexual and have little to no sexual attraction to anyone,
i don't know why as humans we are all so caught up on LABELS.
when i should just be able to date who ever i want without an explanation :P
I've always been one who waited before becoming lovers with another - sometimes as much as two years - by that times, we was friends.
But no matter what. I see the person, not the equipment. So I can still be labled 'Pansexual'
