Dear Belgian furs!
Because our furmeets are becoming more and more frequent, with lots of people joining we figured it might be time for a Terms Of Service.
These are simple rules, but we'd just like to bring them out for everyone to read and to know what is and isn't acceptable for our meets!

We're happy to see all of you at our meets!
Please note, that by coming to a meet, we will presume you have READ and AGREED to these terms of services!
Terms Of Services:
General rules:
- Please treat each other respectfully.
- You are liable for any damage you might cause.
- Harassment of any kind, including physical assault, battery, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome physical attentions, will not be tolerated.
- Attendees of the meets are expected to behave themselves in a proper manner. (see above)
- Attendees under the age of 18 must be under supervision of an adult (parent, sibling or family member).
Clothing & decency:
- Wearing costumes, accessories or displaying items made out of real fur is not allowed.
- Sexual behavior that goes beyond a mere display of affection is not allowed in public.
- Blatant exposure of fetish gear is not permitted in public, even if it is part of a costume.
- Collars are allowed but only if worn tastefully.
- Harnesses are allowed if they fit the costume (canines such as huskies for example)
Take in account that the rules regarding clothing in this section are guidelines. Don't wear anything you wouldn't want your (grand)mother to see you wearing.
We're often in a public space so be responsible when you want to wear accessories.
Photography and video:
- You must ask permission to every attendee before photographing or filming them.
- If you do film/photograph attendees without their consent then you'll be asked to remove the pictures/footage.
Smoking, alcohol & other drugs:
- Smoking of tobacco (in any form) is permitted.
- It is not allowed to smoke near fursuiters if they are present.
- No-one under the age of sixteen is to smoke, and no-one is to knowingly purchase tobacco for someone under the age of sixteen.
- Public use of alcohol and/or drugs are strictly forbidden during the meets.
- No-one under the age of sixteen is to consume alcohol, and no-one is to knowingly purchase alcohol for someone under the age of sixteen.
- No-one under the age of eighteen is to consume strong liquor and no-one is to knowingly purchase strong liquor for someone under the age of eighteen.
- Alcohol is to be consumed in moderation. You are expected to drink responsibly. You will be held responsible for what you do, even when drunk!
- The possession, use or sale of illicit substances is expressly forbidden. Offenders can expect the police to be notified.
Weapons:
- Do not bring any kind of weapons, including look-alikes, replicas, tools and toys, to the meets.
- No water pistols, silly string, nerf guns, or any thrown or projectile-type toy may be brought to and used during meets.
- Mock fights, swordplay, fire breathing or any other dangerous activities are not allowed.
By attending any Befurs organized events you automatically agree to the terms of service and you confirm that you have read the terms of service.
Failure to comply to the terms of service will result in appropriate action.
Minor offences will result in a warning.
Repeated minor offences and major offences will result in either a temporary or permanent ban.
Anything deemed illegal by Belgian law will be reported to the police and will result in a permanent ban.
These decisions are non-negotiable and will by made be Befurs staff only.
Remember that these rules are not to offend or restrict you.
They are to ensure the safety of the attendees and to ensure that everyone can have a good time.
