~HEY GUYS!~
Just out of interest, we've decided to leave a small FAQ here from now on. A number of questions have been circulating at previous meets, so adleast here we can answer a few of them for you. In doing so making each meet as hassle-free for you all. :)
Q.Where do you all meet?
Outside WHsmiths in Lime st station, between 11am and 12pm. Tails are acceptable in the Station, just be prepared for a few funny looks XD
Q.Where is the venue you all go to?
Our regular venue is now Baa Bar Hardman Street,7 Myrtle Street,Liverpool,L7 7DN. (01517097966) We've been using them now for well over a year, they're pretty happy with the company we bring and our usual antics. Staff are friendly and the food/drink isn't too expensive. An ideal venue!
Q.My train was late! how do i find the group from Lime st station??
Ensure you have someone else's number who is going the meet, or if your new don't forget to note down our meet number (078470426999) we'll be happy to send someone back or give directions to the venue, just remember our meet phone is only active on the weekend of the meets.
Q.I can't find the Staff at your meet, who do i talk to?
We have a number of staff and helpers running the meet each time we arrange a meet. They can easily be found with their BLUE lanyards reading "staff" and of course staff badges. Current staff arranging meets are Tribal, Indi, Fang, Elle and Defox. If you get lost or have no one to speak to, find them and they'l happily introduce you to a number of people! :D
Q.What's Baa Bar's food like?
Quite nice actually! they run a basic sort of menu, pizzas, burgers, chips etc. But is relativity cheap and tasty. If that's not for you there is a Co-op across the road (with ATM) as well as a number of take outs down the road that we pass on the way towards the venue (Subway, Costa, Starbucks etc.) so plenty of choice on the day! :)
Q.What are the usual events that take place?
We usually have a cake sale, along with tombola with random prizes, Petyee's podcasting event with FurUradio, Fursuiting walk at around 3pm, Indi's Art table's and shotcakes for all attendee's around 5.30pm.
All proceed's raised will go towards running the Scousefur's event and Charity.
Q.Which Charity?
Bradbury Centre Dogs for the Blind. So far we've raised for them a staggering £840 to this date (23/4/2014) So thank you all <3
