YESTERDAY'S BIRTHDAY - THE START
I AM 28 YEARS OLD NOW...WOW, ALMOST 30
Yesterday's special day started off busy and slightly hectic. Woke up at 6:00 and drove up to our Otsego facility to work on some projects and then the hectic started...One of our servers at our Detroit Lakes facility went down twice. I cannot go into details, but it caused some major slow downs for everybody and I got bombarded with e-mails and phone calls. Thankfully, this did not cut into my project times too much and I did not have to work any additional OT.
Later the day slowed down and this leads into the next section of my journal...
YESTERDAY'S BIRTHDAY - WINDING DOWN
Around 2:00-ish, the day started to slow down for me and I got to relax in my temp office. Decided to run to Starbucks to refuel myself and eventually I got to make the jaunt back down to Apple Valley. I ended up driving back during the prime time of rush hour and it took me about 1.5 hours to get home. I thought 35W from 694 would be somewhat smooth, but I was wrong...Parking garage most of the time. During the drive down I started to not feel good...Was not sure if it was traveling fatigue from the stop/start driving style, but I did not feel good.
Once I got down to Apple Valley, I met
at one of the many Caribou locations before heading to our arranged dinner...This leads into the next section of my journal.
THE DINNER
Me and Norm spent the evening together and had dinner at Red Robin. He has never been to this place and he loved it. Place was a little busy since it was a cold and crappy night, but it was not packed thankfully.
also got me a lovely birthday gift...The gift was a bottle of Maker's 46 and four of their signature glasses with the red wax all around them from the middle down. An awesome gift that will be put to good use.
AFTERWARDS
Afterwards we wandered around the nearest Best Buy for a bit...Really wanted to hit up a park, but again, it was very cold and still raining and on top of that, I was still not feeling a hundred percent.
Our evening ended around 8:30-ish...Every bit of it was worth it.
OTHER NEWS
In other news, I am sure some of you have figured this out already and some actually know too. Me and
are officially together. Over time we have grown close and we are taking things to the next level.
ENDING SECTION
In conclusion, I had a wonderful time last night with my mate...I am still not feeling a hundred percent as I have typed this journal and I hope it does not get worse.
Thank you for reading!
