May the 4th Commission FAQ Journal

I've had a lot of people messaging me recently asking questions about these commissions and I wanted to make a separate journal for FAQs for them.
Are you still taking these commissions?
Yes. I may be closed at the time you check the journal, but chances are I will be opening again sometime between now and May 5th.
Are you Open for these? Or Closed?

Look at the title. If the title says -Closed!- I'm closed. If the title says -Open!- or if there are numbered slots with no name next to them, I am open and you may post a form.
Is there a waiting list for these on your journal?
No. There is no waiting list for these. If you post a form on the journal when all my slots are taken/closed, then you will have to repost your form when they are open in order to get a slot. This is for me to keep track easier and not get overloaded with pics I can't finish by the holiday.
Can I get a character dressed up as Han Solo? Or a Storm Trooper?
At this moment, I'm saying no. It's not that I don't have any love for Han or troopers, it's just that these are meant to be more inspired by the holiday and unique to the individual. If I get 5 people ordering pics of them as Han, it's not so unique any more. Also, I'm not comfortable drawing many different Storm Trooper armor types so to try and keep these commissions speedy, I'm not taking them as an option.
Can I get my character modeled after a specific Jedi's robes? (Obi wan's or Mace Windu's robes for instance)
As long as you provide a ref of the robes you are referring to, yes! The reason I say a ref is sometimes characters wear different outfits over the course of the movies or Clone Wars TV show. You can be thinking of one type, but I am thinking of another. So if you can find a picture of the robes you like, absolutely I will draw your character in them.
Does my character have to have a lightsaber?
Preferably, yes. I have made one exception for this over the forms I've accepted so far, but I'd rather not have it be a reoccurring theme. The main idea for these originally was quick doodles of characters in Jedi/Sith robes with a lightsaber of some kind.
Are you completing these pics in the order they were ordered?
No. I am trying to do my best to complete them in the order they were paid. I go through the current batch and sketch everything then send them all off to get approved. I then look through to see if anyone from the previous batch has already paid and I work on theirs next until I wait for more approvals to come in. Just to keep things running smoothly. ^^

Now my unique question, are you willing to make custom lightsabers? Like the Sith tend to have more bent saber handles, or if you saw The Clonewars Animation, one episode showed new students constructing their own lightsabers, and a Wookie made a really cool Wooden Lightsaber handle.
This also includes for poses sake if you prefer to hold the lightsaber underhand, or if you want a specific stance because of the type of saber you have as well. ^^
I look to see who paid(as in already approved their sketch and sent in the funds) as the next person to finish theirs. I'm not doing them in order in the batches because someone may not have approved their sketch yet, or hasn't sent in the funds, and I don't want to finish a bunch of stuff and then track down people later for payment. So I wait until after it's approved and paid before I finish. Whichever order that might be in. ^^
