Don't EVER guilt trip me! Rant
Sooo was talking to this person today on skype, who at first seemed real nice, talked about art and what not. Figured, "Hey, this person could be like an art buddy!"
Then my all time favorite question came up, "Do you do request?" and as usual I politely said "No I'm sorry but I can't be doing request. And I only ever do them for very close friends, which even that doesn't happen all that much."
Instead of saying, "Ah dang! Well maybe we can work out a trade or commission at some point :3" Which if they said that I would be perfectly fine with.
But instead I got the wonderful guilt trip! I understand things can suck sometimes... I'm going through some things myself. And if I know you well enough, and feel comfortable with you, I will discuss them with you, that's just how I work. But DON'T try guilt tripping me into doing something for you! It'll just anger me! I'd like to think of myself as an easy to get along with type of person, I like to be nice and pleasant cause I don't really like wasting my life being nasty, but if you abuse my niceness in anyway, then I will get extraordinarily mad and quite honestly, I can be a huge bitch if brought out in me!
This situation angered me most of all because it went like this:
1. Nice pleasant conversation, leading to question and ending with rejection
2. Guilt trip! Leads only to polite sympathy but still refusal
3. Individual down right drops the conversation and all contact! Ends in a very very angry me
To sum this up and smack on a nice little bow:
Don't guilt trip me to get something or get away with something
Don't abuse my niceness, ever!
...Maaaan so many negative journals today... well one nice one XD
I'll make it up to you tomorrow, will work on a facts journal ^^
Poe
Ps. The only time I really really REALLY do requests for non-friends or what ever, is if I on the of chance offer it.
Pps. I'd like to thank you guys for being awesome ^^ I have no problems with any of you!

I often get nervous giving people gift art because I don't want them to think I'm sucking up!
Yeah, it's sad that people do that too. Unless the receiver agrees to a trade, they're not really obligated to do anything other than say "thank you".
Mmhmm! Getting a gift back is nice, but shouldn't be expected!
