Terms Of Service
By commissioning me, you agree to be bound by the terms of service listed below. I send EVERYONE my TOS via note (to get my email for payment) I cannot be held responsible for clients who do not read it.
Getting Into Contact
Send me note. You can also email me at fionaharrington[at]gmail.com
The Process
The client starts the transaction with a note, a well written description of the commission is required, unless given artistic liberty. The client should have GOOD reference pictures. You MUST have a well written description of any changes that are not visually shown on you characters. ALSO if you are using secondlife screen shots, make sure they're well lit... full body's prefered.
Please note any changes made to your character after the commission is started need to be addressed ASAP, if flats have been approved and a change has been made there is a 5$ fee to make any changes (small changes like eye color can be done for free, but at my discression)
*Color Disclaimer*
With characters that have pure (or very close) black or white colors, I will tweak that color slightly. Everything I've been taught about color theory and illustration tells me not to use pure black or white, as an image tends to suffer composition-wise.
Payment
I use only Paypal. All payments must be in USD.
When I have enough details from the client to start the commission, payment will be requested. Client has 24 hours to make a payment before I request again, after another 24 hour period if no payment is made, commission will not be taken, and you will be blacklisted (within reason)
Here's a step-by-step of the most appropriate way to pay for a commission from me:
-Login to PayPal. On the main "Summary" page, click on "Pay or send Money".
-Click on "Pay for Goods or Services". Please do not pay for your commission with "Send money to friends and family" option.
-On the next page type in my paypal email address and the amount of the commission.
-On the dropdown menu under "You'll Pay", make sure "no address needed" is selected. Please double-check this because it is very important.
-In the field that says "Add a note (optional)", please do not include a note. This is because of the rocky history between Furaffinity and PayPal in terms of content ratings. I very carefully manage payments coming through my account and can assure you your payment WILL be accounted for.
-Send payment and wait for me to notify you that payment was received. I will be notifying all clients that their payment got to me as soon as I can. Once this happens, your commission is in the work queue and will be completed along with all other paid work in a timely and organized fashion.

Turnaround Time
Please note that before I am an artist, I am a mother and a wife, my family comes before commissions, turn around time should be anywhere from 3-5 days from when I START you commission (please take note to any queue I have, before sending a note inquiring about completion... I will try my best to keep you updated on the commission and let you know if any delays come up!
Stage Approvals
There will be two approval stages for any full detail picture, sketch and flats. There will be no approval stages for icons or sketches. A sketch approval will be given to those who want flat color.
Reposting Rules
I do not mind if my work is posted to places like e621 and chan boards. My only reposting policy is that ownership of the art can only be claimed by ME- no matter who commissioned it and what it's of!
Please do not post my work to your personal gallery unless you have a character in the image.
You may not ever edit or alter my work without my permission. Don't be afraid to ask though, I'm very open minded!
I retain the right to (politely!)ask you to take down my work from any gallery for any reason. If you refuse to remove the work yourself I will have it removed by administrators.
The Blacklist
Stuff in plain text are things I will draw only if a client pays a Blacklist fee. This can be haggled/discussed.
Stuff in bold text are things I will never even consider.

Editing Policy
There is a small fee (depending on commission type) for edits regarding features or details not provided or clarified at the beginning of the transaction when you initially made your order. Any edits regarding mistakes I made or features/details I omitted but still had from the order will be no charge, as they are my fault.
Please be clear and specific when requesting edits. Merely saying "This doesn't feel right" or "I don't like this" about something doesn't tell me anything and the edit will not be made.
Refund Policy
Customers are entitled to a full refund ONLY if work has not begun. Canceling the commission during the work process will yield a partial refund and the unfinished image. I will only keep as much as I worked for. This is as fair as I can make my refund policy and it will not change for any reason.
You are NOT eligible for a refund (full or partial) if:
1) You are dissatisfied with the work once finished (I put a fair and equal amount of effort into my work, and I cannot control whether you like how I draw certain things)
2) You have mismanaged your finances and need the money back (This is my work and it's how I pay my bills, I cannot be held responsible for changes in your life that affect your finances)
My Conditions
I will not work with someone who is needlessly rude or inappropriate.
I have the right to cancel or refuse any commission for any reason.
I only speak and read English for all business transactions. I also need clients to be able to speak and read English clearly in order for us to understand each other.
Once I have delivered a commission to you, and you have given me an indication of receiving it, safeguarding a copy of the image is no longer my responsibility. Art takes A TON of space on my HD and I need to clear it all out periodically.
I will only work with one person on a commission at a time. If you and a few friends are commissioning a picture together, you will have to pick one person in the group to represent all of you as my client.
What To Expect
I will always be polite, friendly, and open-minded with my customers.
In any time during our transaction I encounter a problem or have a question for you, I will immediately contact you as clearly and professionally as I can.
Unless you specify things like expressions and poses, I will improvise based off the character design, and any personality cues I am given. You can contact me at any time to check up on your commission, but please give me a little time inbetween inquiries! Asking about it every three days is very frustrating.
