Hello art stalkers, page lurkers, and commission patrons...

Today my home caught fire. An hour and a half after I arrived at my work I received a call from the local police department saying that my home had caught fire and I needed to come home as soon as possible. Which I did. I drove 20 miles over the speed limit all the way there.

I arrived on scene and was greeted by the fire Marshall on duty. He gave me the collars of my two cats: Lt. Hawkeye and Satine. They has suffocated due to smoke inhalation during the fire. The firemen had attempted to revive them but they were to far gone. They sent the bodies away with Animal Control before I arrived home.

My husband was, thankfully, at work at the time of the fire as well so neither of us were hurt (physical). Both our dogs were safely sequestered in the back yard away from the house in my fenced garden. We are ok.

My computer (laptop), and all my digital and traditional art supplies have either been damaged by severe heat or smoke. My Tablet Pen melted to the carpet after falling off the desk. Sufficient to say that I will not be taking commission for a while and may even be inactive on FA and all my other social media sites as well.

Please keep my husband, myself, and my dogs in your thoughts and prayers.
