Commission status change yet again.
Well…things just get worse and worse before payday. Apparently my older sister’s graduation is tomorrow, I cannot attend thanks to work (nor do I care), but my mother and my sister will. And they decided that they are going to pawn my 3DS just to have money for the restaurant they plan to gather to just so they don’t look bad in front of the rest of the family.
Needless to say, I wasn’t too keen on the idea behind pawning off my last luxury item just so my mother and my sister can enjoy dinner and save face at the graduation. She says that she’d take it out by Friday, when we both get paid, but I know something will happen to get in the way of that, and thus I’d have to wait months before I can take it and my tablet back out.
So now I’m tasked with either strumming up $40.00 in half a day, or lose my 3DS. So I’m afraid I am going to have to make some changes.
As of the next 24 hours at least, I won’t be taking shaded or colored commissions, they just take too much time. Those who already have those set with me will still get them that way however. But any future commissions will be either sketch commissions, lineart, or inked.
Friday just can't come sooner....
$1.50 a page for Rough sequences (2.00 for more than one inflated character)
$5.00 for lineart (7.50 for more than one inflated character)
$6.00 for Inked (8.50 for more than one inflated character)
What are rough sequences?
if for some reason you want them, Rough sequences are quickly done sketches with pretty basic detail and virtually no shading or hatching. these are typically done in a comic style, where the sequence is done over the course of a single page or more.

What is lineart?
~Lineart pieces are primarily graphite pieces that only cover the outline of the character and maybe a bit of hatching for value or mild depth. these are done with 2B and 9B lead.

What is Inked?
~Inked pieces are pieces done primarily with just ink, aiming for a sort of comic book like look where various ink techniques are used to try and convey depth. results may vary as I'm a tad inexperienced with this. so it is only a dollar more than graphite linearts.

I can't purchase any commissions at the moment since I'm also saving up all my money for a new laptop this Friday, but I could post a journal to help you out if you want. D:
