What Gives Life... (Traditional Commissions Open)
... is an utterly fragging stupid piece of hardware! My precious TabletPC, the last generation of it's type, is on it's last legs. The TabletPC is an HP Touchsmart TM2T, likely the last generation of TabletPC that comes with dedicated graphics allowing it to essentially play games and GPU accelerated graphics for my graphical work. It's 4 years old and is the second-most important piece of hardware I own, next to my massive PC.
So what happened? The fragging powerblock/adapter goes kaput. But not in the literal manner. In fact I'd say it's more of a 'twink' than Kaput. The power head is busted, not delivering power reliably. Honestly I was expecting the battery to go first, before the power block. There's no way in hell I'm spending $80 for a replacement block, and the markets are flooded with unreliable, cheap fakes and knockoffs that barely last more than a few days. I know these pieces of crap as I got one for an older laptop. It failed within a week.
So.. until I locate a replacement that can last a good while and is of reasonable price, my ability to produce digital work is over. But as some of you noticed... I've turned to ye-old graphite and tree pulp. I'll be drawing traditional work for the immediate future.
Commissions are open for traditional media, $15 flat price for drawn and shaded. Higher quality traditionals aren't available as I don't have any other pencil other than a mechanical pencil with 2B lead. My massive pack of pencils covering the entire spectrum of graphites are 20 miles away and I don't have my pack of higher quality heavy paper or inking pens available.
Those interested in pencil commissions, feel free to comment.
Update!
I have my set of awesome art pencils and various tools. Say YES to PRETTY traditionals!

What kind of tablet PC doesn't have integrated graphics? That seems really silly to not have for a graphics device.
I'm out of the house right now but would love to pick something up when I get home :)
