TERMS OF SERVICE THROUGH TEPIDDREAMER STUDIOS/WARBURD FURSUITS
Please read this form in its entirety before commissioning us. We want to make the process as smooth as possible, and these terms protect not only us as the employee, but you as the customer.
COMMISSIONING/QUOTES
-Unless otherwise stated, all quotes given are good for 90 days. This quote is given as a fixed price based on current material costs, units of time spent on the project(Hourly Wage), units of time spent on machines needed to complete project(Operating Costs), and shipping charges.
-Customers have the option to change their given quote (1) time before final acceptance. Depending on the changes made, the price may change as well.
-Once final acceptance has been made, the customer cannot request changes. As such we cannot raise the price given, regardless of material cost overages.
-We do require a GOOD 3 Point Style Colored Reference sheet of your character. Please do not send us multiple ref sheets with one referencing how the tail should look and another the expression.
-Your ONE good reference should not be:
-Scribbled or incoherent line art/color scheme
- Black/White(unless your character is only black/white)
-We do accept artistic liberty or text only references. This type will be discussed extensively before finalization to make sure the commissioner is on board with the type.
-We will not accept all quotes and animal types that are sent our way. Please understand that we work on only 1 or 2 projects at a time, and each commission is very unique, so we want to make sure that we are comfortable with making that type of animal. Please do not be upset if we do not choose your quote, there may be many reasons as to why your quote was not accepted.
-All commissioners MUST BE 18+. Currently we do not accept parental permission.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS
-All commissions require a 40% deposit, which is NON-REFUNDABLE. Once the deposit has been made all materials for your commission will be purchased and work will begin. You can make payments as needed while your commission is in progress, but final payment is not required until your item(s) are completed. As such item(s) will not be mailed until all payments have been made.
-Once your commission is completed, you have 15 days from completion to make your final payment, unless other arrangements are made. If your commission is not paid in full by this time, all payments made EXCEPT for the 40% deposit will be returned and your item(s) will be sold, with funds made being kept to help cover time/work lost.
-Majority of Payments must be made through Paypal as a SERVICE payment. Do not make a payment using the Gift option.

-We will accept Money Orders, but they must be sent in a USPS or UPS Insured and Tracked envelope. This helps protect from fraud or lost funds. We are not responsible for lost mail.
REFUNDS/CANCELLATION
-You have the right to cancel a commission at anytime. Cancellation of the commission automatically forfeits your 40% deposit, and any other funds will be returned to the commissioner.
-We have the right to cancel a commission at any time. There are several factors which will affect the refund and items returned.
-If the commissioner is unreasonable, blacklisted, or is harassing/rude the commission will be canceled. Deposit will not be refunded and items/materials will be kept, any payments made past the deposit will be returned to the commissioner
-If, Tepiddreamer Studios, is unable to complete the commission due to prior committments, failure or loss of machinery, illness or injury, or overall project failure ALL funds will be returned to commissioner
DEADLINES
-For the most part, we do not work with deadlines. We will give a timeframe in which the majority of your item(s) will be completed, but if you have a specific date we generally do not follow it. This being said, we try our best to complete your commission in the time stated. Most of our commissions are completed in under 3 months. There are several factors that affect completion times, including the backordering of supplies. Also, depending on location, shipping may affect a given time frame
SPECIES/TYPES
-For the most part, we work mainly with canids and felines. Occasionally we will accept projects of other species. If you want a fox, you are getting a fox. If you want a fox with a cat nose and sergal teeth your commission may not be accepted. Unless we are adventurous, we generally stick to what we know.
-We do have a set style that can be changed a little. We try to make sure no 2 heads look the same, but some styles(such as an outsourced resin blank) are hard to manipulate. Most of our suits are semi-realistic, but we have done toony occasionally.
OUTSOURCED PARTS
-Most of our bases, foam or resin, and silicone work is done in house. Meaning our turn over times and prices are lower. We will sometimes use jawsets or noses that we have in supply from another supplier at no extra cost, but only if it is in our studio.
-We will work with other suppliers parts, ex. Dream Vision Creations or Twilight Phoenix Studios, on your request. Please be aware that if these are items are requested, your price will increase and your time frame will be affected. The DVC team is very busy, especially around certain convention dates, and their turnover rate can be as long as 3 weeks. We will remind you of these problems if you request these items.
SHIPPING/DELIVERY
-Most items will be delivered Tracked and Insured with USPS, and UPS if requested. We do ship internationally and Express.
-We are not responsible for any tariff, taxes, import fees, or duty fees. Once the package leaves our hands we are no longer responsible for any extra fees the packages incurs while in transit.
-Packages that are returned are kept until the customer is contacted. We will try to contact you several times if a package is returned. Please remember you paid for this item, so don't ignore it!
-Very rarely, and only if you are local(and I mean very local) will we hand deliver item(s) to a con or to your home.
WARRANTY
-All items have a 90 day warranty against basic wear and tear, shipping to be paid both ways by the commissioner. This includes basic sewing fixes, regluing or airbrush touchup, hinge replacement, or acrylic eye replacement***.
-Any item this is returned dirty or beyond repair will not be fixed. If we see you doing cartwheels or soaking in a hot tub in your suit this voids the warranty
-Unless previously discussed, any repairs made by another vender will void the warranty
***In the event that your acrylic eyes craze or crack, they will be replaced free of charge. This policy stands for 1 year from purchase.
***If your pawpads come loose from gluing due to failure of the glue or fleece they will also be replaced within 90 days of purchase
MEASUREMENTS
-Most head, hand paws, and tails will be done with basic measurements. Armsleeves, leggings, or bodysuits require a DTD
-Feetpaws require a clean pair of shoes. They can be new, but some times shoes broken in a little work better for the commissioner so that they are not so tight.
-DTD must be complete and not falling apart. Any DTD sent that does not meet our standards will be sent back to the commissioner and required to be fixed. Bad DTD mean a bad fitting for you so please do your best to get it right the first time
WIPs/CONTACTS
-Unless previously discussed, all work will be posted as WIP until completion. These will be posted to FA, DA, and Twitter.
-You may repost these WIP or completed pics at any time as long as you credit back to us.
-You may request that we do not post WIP!
-If you would like, we can send txt messages containing updates and progress pics. This will help us with difficult or complicated patterns. All data/message rates are the buyers responsibility.
