It's the first official day of summer folks, and you know what that means! No, not the Asparagus Festival, Its the Team Acorn Summer Fun Contest!

Sun, Sand, Swimming, Beaches, Ice Cream. Think Hot and Fun, Naughty or safe, all is right with fun under the sun.

The contest will last from June 25th to July 31st, so a little over a month for everyone who is going to enter to submit a piece and put some effort into it.
The Contest will have 2 categories, Writing and Art, each with its own prizes.

Details: So we decided to give this contest two categories based on skill to help lesser experienced artist have a chance at winning too. This should encourage lower skilled artist to give it a shot and hope for a win. Higher experienced artists will not be allowed in that category. So when signing up, please inform me which you will be joining
*Note, skill tiers apply to the artists only. Writers will all be in the same category.*

Lower skill tier- For artist who are not confident they can compete with some of the higher skilled artist out there. There's no shame in signing up for this tier, it's there for beginner, struggling, and/or learning artists. So go for it!

High skill tier- For artists that are confident they can compete with any skill just fine.

Ultimately the choice is up to you and how confident you are in your skill. Please be honest when you sign up, we will be making sure no one intends to cheat the lesser ended tier. Each tier will have their own prize.

High Tier Art: 1st place $50, 2nd place a free 2 character commission from me SlashySmiley with basic colors by Blazeymix, 3rd place will have their art featured on the Team Acorn Website

Low Tier Art: 1st place $20, 2nd place a two character sketch commission from SlashySmiley, 3rd place gets it's piece featured on the Team Acorn Website

Writing: 1st place will be a choice between $20 or a fully inked and colored scene from their story submission, 2nd place an inked scene black and white from their submission, and 3rd a sketched scene from their submission. (This contest piece will only happen if enough entries are submitted, 6 entries minimum needed)

All top 3 winners will have their submissions featured in the contest winners section of the site guaranteed.

Submitting: You may either link to your submission in the comments to this journal or you can note    slashysmiley    blazeymix or    sallyhot with your submission

Rules: The image must be Sally centric, but can involve anyone or anything else, be it canon or fan character. It must have a summer theme, you've got plenty of situations to pick from, use your imaginations. While it can be anything from Sexing to totally innocent fun, we do ask that you avoid the more hardcore themes like guro, vore, or gross stuff like scat or watersports. Only 1 submission per participant as well.

This year's bonus points are awarded for use of.... Vanilla the rabbit! Everyone's favorite Bunny Milf. Add her into your entry in a fun and creative way for a sexy edge.

All placers will be offered an invitation to join Team Acorn as well, so entry into a fun loving artistic sonic community is also a prize.

Scoring: We have our own scoring system for determining the victor, And while Team Acorn members are also allowed to participate, we aren't playing favorites, and have a scoring system for them too so as to not give them an advantage. Following and how well you employ the Summer Theme will earn a bonus the the participants final score as well.
