It's that time again, the one where we do the fancy sign ups.

A few notes
-Sign ups are open 7-10 days. If you are participating in the previous round, DO NOT sign up unless you have turned in for the previous round.
- If you owe art/are blacklisted on Weasyl do not sign up, the blacklist extends here and there!!!
-You will receive a note when sign-ups close on who you are to draw.
-DO NOT sign up if you will not be able to complete a badge by the deadline of ~one month.
-Humans are allowed but please give a second option including a furry character as not everyone is comfortable with humans.
-If you have complicated/monster characters they are also welcome but it is recommended you give a secondary character as well since this community does allow beginner, harder creatures can be a little out of their level.

Description: She's rather feisty, this one. More mischief and snark than anything, and will occasionally let her tail nip someone and play it off like she had nothing to do with it. Has a canine base to her face, though she's a combination of fur, fluff, and scales. Her torso, ears tail, and upper parts of her limbs are scaled. Her face, the lower bits of her limbs, and obviously the giant ruff around her neck and her tail are fur. Has a mane that goes to the base of the tail and stops just above, if you do anything showing her back to the audience. Also, the center of the radioactive symbol in her right eye is her pupil, but the rest of the symbol can constrict and dilate with it as well, and her left eye is pupiless.

Theme: As for a theme, surprise me! If you're familiar with Star Trek, Red Dwarf or Doctor Who, I'd love those as a theme! Sarsi as Rimmer from Red Dwarf would be hilaaaarious! I've recently taken up indoor rowing and it would be super rad if you could make a badge around that. Running works too if that's an easier theme for you to do. Feral or anthro is a-ok!
When all else fails, the theme can be OUTER-SPACE SPACEY SPACE-TIME! Rocketships, stars, moons, constellations and whathaveyou! My favorite constellation is Orion and she's a Scorpio. Just have fun with it! Even a plain badge works for me if a theme is too daunting for you.
Anything else?: If you've never drawn a sighthound before, please look them up. She is a greyhound and has a longer nose than other canines. If you can make her look more like a greyhound than like a lab, I will love you forever! PS Look up rose ears at the same time. Greyhounds have funny ears.

Description: Shadow Spectrum, also known as Shad, is a blue, white and dark grey Skywilder. Her horns and cloven hooves are a slightly darker grey. The dark grey markings run from her nose down her neck all the way down her back. The white nose stripe only runs to her hair line. Her neck fur and cheek fur is fluffy and the rest is short and sleek. Her fetlock feathering is very long especially in the back. She has the thin springy build of a gazelle. Personality wise she is a little haughty and aloof and often grumpy. She, like her markings inspired by magpies, loves shiny beautiful things. She is skilled in dark and light projection magic.
Accessories: Her ear piercings are identical or both sides except for the top hoop which is only on her left side. These are a must. She always has horn decorations but any design is fine.
