This is the official request journal for the 100 Palette Iron artist Challenge!Comment here (AND ONLY HERE, PLEASE!) if you are interested. How many picswill I do? I hope to do all 100, of course -- to see how I'm doing so far, check out the official, always-updated 100 PALETTE CHALLENGE CHECKLIST!

What's all this, you ask? Well, for starters, why not CHECK OUT THE FAQ? Everything about the Challenge can be found there, but in summary, it works like this:

You give me a character to draw, with visual refs (no written for this challenge, sorry).

You then give me a number from 1-100 (Please, no repeats. Look at the Checklist if you want to know which palettes are not taken yet). The challenge in this is that I will *ONLY BE USING THE PALETTE COLORS* to draw the character in question. Picking a number is very important, [i[so please do not forget this[/i]! No backsies once you have a choice unless the number is taken, either!

Now, then, this is where it gets interesting. If you want the pic to be of your own character or any other character that is not mine, it will be PAY WHAT YOU WANT ($5 minimum), Paypal only. Also, anyone that offers up $20 or more as payment for a palette commissions can request to get a "Wallpaper" version of your Palette pic. The Palettes by default are fairly big, so it'd be a matter of you giving me the format you want your palette to be (default is png, can be jpg), but they can and what would it be a wallpaper for (Computer? Smartphone? Tablet? Up to you!). ADDITIONALLY, payments that are $50 or over will get you a 5% discount on one flat colored pic of your choice (though you have to remind me somehow!)

Note that all pics in this challenge will be a Safe-For-Work, experimental bust pics with no chance for last-minute fixes or pose suggestions. All pics will be done on a First Come, First Serve basis. Like any commission, I have the right to refuse to draw a character for whatever reason, but for this challenge especially, I'm going to be extremely lenient, so feel free to ask for things you know I'd normally turn down, such as robots and the like :)

...now if you want to suggest my own characters, note that THOSE pics will be for free because I am a jerk like that and need more excuses to draw them anyway. If you need ideas for characters of mine to suggest, either check my gallery or check the FAQ. UPDATE: you may request *as many as you want*, provided the character has not been drawn yet for the challenge and there are palettes left. In the event that two people end up requesting for the same palette and one is for a commission, the commission will take priority and the freebie will either be put in another palette or drawn at a later date for something not challenge-based should there not be any more palettes left.


Oh and no, I don't mind you looking at the actual palette list for ideas, but come onnn, where's the fun in that? That said, if you want to try this challenge yourself, by all means go check it out! Just make sure to credit the original creator of the palette list!
