General StarDragon Info
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Gems: All StarDragons have one or more Lifegems; resilient orbs that contain the lifeforce of each dragon. It would take a substantial amount of effort to damage one, let alone remove it from a StarDragons possession, but they are chock full of energy and magic.
☆Upon death, their gems turn grey and dull.
☆Flowers: Females keep flowers in their hair, both as a of fashion statement, and to signify they do not yet have a mate. Females with male partners will give the flower to their mate when they decide to settle down together. If their partner is also a female, they will exchange flowers instead. Males with male partners have been known to exchange flowers as well. The mate does not wear the flower after it has been given to them, but usually keeps it in a safe place. The flowers can be of any variety, and do not wilt, thanks to the StarDragons magic.
☆Horns: Similar to the orbs, all StarDragons have horns. Most are similar between the sexes, with size being the only obvious difference. StarRobbers have more subtle distinction between another, while StarEaters are very clearly dissimilar between male and females. Most horns will mend themselves if cracked or grow back if broken off completely. Starcrafters have HIGHLY resilient horns.
☆Exceptions: None of the above really applies to the StarShooters. Supposedly, they lost their horns and the lifeforce within their gems after forsaking the gods. As such, they no longer consider themselves StarDragons at all, doing away with their ancestors customs and beliefs, even creating a new language for themselves. Mutations and those who believe otherwise, while extremely rare, can happen.
☆Just because some StarDragons are known to be in set locations, doesn't mean they can't expand elsewhere! (Example: StarCrafters could very well live in colder regions, or rather hot springs within those regions) But keep it reasonable! (Example: A StarShooter would not be born and raised within another StarDragon's place of living. either the StarShooter would be interested in killing the other dragons, or the other dragons would not trust the StarShooter.)
★ StarShooters ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Unlike the rest of their kin, StarShooters have no horns, no lifegem, and no regard for the other 7 races. They have evolved into vicious hunters, with the StarDragons serving as their prey. Very few can still speak the native dragon tongue.
☆StarShooters congregate in large Victorian like cities, and are by far the more sophisticated dragon species with living spaces and technology of the magical variety.
☆When the gems they steal run out of magical energy, they're broken and cut down to be used as currency.
☆Use other StarDragons as servants. The StarDragons in 'pristine' conditions are reserved for the StarShooters with more money, or sit higher on the ranking system. The StarDragons in worse condition go to the poorer StarShooters.
☆Lifegems: None, though they have a ring of gems around their tails and larger gems placed in each ear.
★ StarEaters ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆The most prevalent StarDragon species. They're resilient and robust, capable of living in most any environment, though they prefer the openness of rolling green hills and cliff sides.
☆One of the oldest as well, said to be the ancestor of all other StarDragon races.
☆They're a very docile species, and though omnivorous, most StarEaters enjoy nothing more than the taste of starfruit.
☆Lifegems: One on their chest, just below the collarbone.
★ StarDashers ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Found in the forests mostly, but it's not unheard of that they travel through deserts. The more spiritual of the race can be found in the mushroom forests.
☆Have their own religious hierarchy. Priests and priestesses are more Kirin like in appearance, rather than deer.
☆Lifegems: Males have a central gem between their antlers and many faux gems. Females have multiple life gems on their bodies and one larger faux gem.
★ StarSweepers ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Making their home in dense jungles and rain forests, Starsweepers are one of the rowdier dragons. Though, some dwell in tropical climates, or tundras (Like penguins!).
☆They are an avian like species, though they actually lack the means to fly (Think feathered raptors.) However, they are exceptionally quick on their feet, and make for fearsome hunters.
☆They love dancing and holding huge parties with endless feasts for just about any occasion.
☆The males have stingers at the tips of their tails which carry a potent venom.
☆Lifegems: One on the back of each hand, as well as one on the forehead.
★ StarFishers ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆The sea is where they'll be!
☆Though they appear cute and defenseless, Fishers are rather vicious, and kill for enjoyment. It's been said they enjoy tugging people under the water because they find the bubbles fun to watch.
☆Often the bane of sea crafts, as they tend to lure sailors into reefs or sandbanks, damaging the hulls or getting the ships stuck.
☆Not good on land at all. They're awkward and clumsy, and no longer the majestic killers of the sea, but comedic klutzes.
☆Lifegems: One on each hip, and two atop their heads, giving them a 'froglike' appearance.
★ StarRobbers ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Usually found roaming swamps, graveyards, or battlegrounds long forgotten.
☆Undead, manifested from spent magic that lingered- often times after a vicious, violent death. Think of them as malevolent spirits seeking their revenge. (Basically: They were originally a StarEater, Shooters, Sweeper, etc- but after a traumatic death, became a Robber)
☆Typically raised with a 'goal' in mind. Revenge on the one who murdered them. When said goal is complete, they could pass on as their souls are 'at ease', or they can carry on. (Example: A Sweeper and his son were murdered, he raises as a Robber and gets revenge on their murderer. However instead of passing on once his 'goal' has been met, he persists through his undead life, protecting children so the same fate doesn't befall them)
☆Can be raised and unable to recall their past life. Those who don't typically wander till they remember their goal.
☆Lifegems: Inside their exposed ribcage.
★ StarWeavers ★
✶ Info Sheet ✶
☆Prefer the colder climates upon mountain tops.
☆StarWeavers are heavily neutral. They do not get involved with the StarShooter's lust for other's gems, nor do they save the other StarDragons. However, if a fight takes place on their lands, they are quick to stop it, no matter who started it!
☆Lifegems: One separating the two parts of their cloud-like tails.
★ StarCrafters ★
✶Info Sheet✶
☆Typically found in warm climates. Like, super warm. Like in the middle of a volcano type of warm.
☆These dragons are capable of cutting gems without killing those who bare them. They also deal with various other body modifications, such as carving designs into horns.
☆Good luck managing to break their horns or gem, their horns and gems are by far the strongest of all the StarDragons
☆Lifegems: Two on the ends of their tails, just before the tuft of fur.
(Star capitalization and their adjectives that follow are to help differentiate between StarDragons)

Starshooters can harvest the gems to retain their color if they manage to do so before the glow/color leaves them upon death of the StarDragon or if they harvest before death. This, however, does require the gem remain uncracked/damaged. If cracked or damaged after the StarDragon has died, the gem will almost instantly turn grey. Now, this is where crafter's come in. StarShooters can hire/enslave the StarCrafters to cut the gems so that they retain their glow and color without having to remain the same shape as before the death of their original owner. Grey/lifeless gems will still have their uses but ones with glow and color will be infinitely more valuable especially for the care it takes to get one.
Bonus: All faux gems/not life gems retain their color even after death so hunting a StarDragon with faux gems would actually be useful for a newbie StarShooter in training that way they still have other things of value if they damage the gem during a fight or don't harvest it in time.
I'm fairly certain this is all accurate and i'll update it later if it isn't or if you have any questions feel free to ask! Sometimes it helps us build their lore even more :3

-also one more question aha-
The StarShooters have kind of a 'military'-ish setup for some of the charries.. I was wondering if they did like the US did where you have to sign up for draft once you turn 18 so your required to join or if they have a choice in it.
Ty for answering my questions ;3; Just wanna make sure my charrie is accurate haha.
Basically they have no choice and are automatically enlisted at the age of 16 so none of them really have much of a choice in the matter.
As for currency, StarShooters are the only ones that use that type of currency as the other StarDragons would most likely be appalled as one of them had to die for that currency. Most other StarDragons work on a bartering system, basically trading one form of goods for another.

Thank you very much ^^ very helpful C:
On the general info sheet, it looks like Dashers aren't born with their large gem suspended between their horn buds - at what age would that happen? How easy would it be for them to lose the gem before then? (Babies aren't exactly known for keeping track of their stuff well...)
Would filigree/wire wrap type settings be something that e.g. Dashers and maybe Crafters and/or Weavers might use to decorate their floating/tail gems, respectively (figuring fitting something like that on a more embedded gem would be somewhere between difficult and impossible)? Thinking something along the lines of some of the settings here. For a Dasher especially it might not even actually touch their life gem, but be a fine metal "lace" shell floating a little ways outside of the gem itself or something.
How long after death is a StarDragon raised if it is raised into a Robber? Like, is it a matter of minutes, hours, days, weeks?
What kind of magics are StarDragons capable of? Is there anything specific they can/cannot do?
What group(s) would you recommend watching to keep an eye on design/MYO sales?
Darn it I may have fallen in love with Dashers and Robbers...1. Around 3-5 weeks of age, the orbs are placed above their heads with what we have just lovingly dubbed, superglue magic. The gem could be lost if something specifically kept it away from the child, which unfortunately- at this young age, would cause the baby to grow weaker and eventually pass on (Unlike when they're older, where they simply go into a trance like state). The orb is still their life force, still a part of them, and it sort of just rolls along after the baby wherever the baby crawls off to. Hindered only by obstacles and of course, if someone takes the orb. As you can imagine, the first few weeks for Dasher parents are a little nerve-wracking.
The orb coming to be above their head isn't entirely a conscious thought, and generally happens when the baby is sleeping(Which fortunately, the first month of a babies life is pretty much sleeping anyway. Or crying.). Their growing magic simply has the orb roll above their head and from there, it stays. Hopefully till the end of their lives.
2. Wow we... never really thought of that. But honestly I wouldn't see why not. I'll have to pass that idea along to the artists for sure. But- I'm sure StarDragons who get their gems engraved could have wires fitted along the grooves. Doing that would take a steady hand for sure, and as Crafters are trusted with the carving of gems, they're likely trusted with the wire workings. The filigree could easily be made to float around the orb of a Dasher/Crafter/Weaver with the same sort of magic baby Dashers use to place their orbs above their head. That 'superglue' magic that that just has things suspended in place. Honestly the effort put into it is so small it's hardly considered magic and just something that can be done.
(Also chuckles at the poor artists in the future who are like, 'goddamn your tiny details *Shake fist*')
3. (Okay I could literally talk all day about this answer okay I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS about the Robbers they're my babies and these questions only help allow me to world build on them more)That depends on the StarDragon's life and the "judgement process", if you want to get fancy with the names, Helgin puts them through. It's not immediate, that's for sure, so generally the family has time to grieve over the loss of their loved ones.
>How they died (Dying of old age, some natural disaster, or falling ill and passing usually disqualifies a second chance. They died from natural causes, or something 'nature' did to them. This is not always the case, but generally- they remain dead after)
>How old are they? (Hylcinth does not like the idea of very young StarDragons being raised, it seems cruel to her. However Helgin slips under that radar occasionally. )
>Do they deserve a second chance? (Now this is where the tricky, long process comes in. Were the lawful, or chaotic? And just because they're chaotic, does this mean they don't deserve another chance? Helgin and Hylcinth are their God/Goddess, but they're still their parents. Helgin still wants to believe his children all have good in them (Even if the Shooters really, REALLY push that), so bringing them back gives them a chance to right their wrongs. Do they right their wrongs? Maybe not as often as Helgin would like.
And just because they were lawful doesn't mean they have finished all their duties and can move on. They might still have a charge to protect and teach, a village to look after, some goal they have to tend to.
>VENGEANCE???!! (Helgin is a sucker for justice. So was the StarDragon killed in an unjust fashion? Knife to the back by a trusted friend? Made to watch their family die before the band of thieves did them in? Well congratulations, hopefully you remember those faces because you get a round two to hunt them down and do them in.)
So to give this short question a short answer instead of the monstrosity above: Not minutes, not months. It could be anywhere from between a day to a few weeks)
4. All StarDragons (And to some small degree StarShooters- See: Their tail gems) have the poorly named Superglue magic. Allowing some small, trivial thing to float and stay in place (on themselves) without any effort. Again, since it's so ingrained and natural, it's not really seen as magic and something they can do. It doesn't help them defend themselves, it doesn't help them fight, and really just comes down to cosmetic value. ACTUAL true magic comes down to the StarDragon themselves. They're born with a blank slate with magic(Save for Shooters), the ability to do anything, but no knowledge on how to do it. So a Dasher, if they have the desire to learn how to control nature, can go about practicing to hone their magic to commune with nature. A Weaver with an interest to practice telekinesis would set their efforts to this. Now, could a StarDragon take up air magic, fire magic, water magic, and earth and become the next Avatar? Yeaahhh, maybe, but they're splitting their magics very thin, and they'd never be able to use their magic as strongly as someone who dedicated everything to one specific field. No one will be able to master all sorts of magic and be all powerful in everything. (Unless someone wants that in their own story then by all means you do you!)
There's no magic they CANNOT do, but there are magics that are frowned upon. Creating life- through constructs and golems and whatnot, that's seen as if you're trying to take Hylcinth's job, as she's the one who gave them all life. Necromancy, that's seen as muscling in on Helgin's place. Dark arts is as universally frowned upon as it usually is. But that doesn't mean someone won't go sticking their nose in it.
(But that being said, someone who takes up necromancy might not be doing it to play evil sorcery. They might have lost a pet they really, really loved and now they're constantly surrounded by all their dead pets because they couldn't go on being separated from Fluffy.)
5. MYOStarDragons is a MYO group! We have MYOs once a year (Around June/July!) However, Deletethestars, the original creator of the StarDragons, might hold smaller MYOs here and there. Raptorslut and Deletethestars both make StarDragon batches. I believe Raptor has a Robber up right now: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21803117/ and she's working on a batch that'll hopefully be up in the near future.
While prices usually range from 50-100 dollars, they'll likely come down due to the lack of activity from both artists because life's a bear, I tells ya.
MYOs range from 35-50 depending on the rarity of the trait you want ouo/
*Snaps fingers and points* Robbers are the best. ;3 ....Not bias. Definitely not bias. (Completely bias)

(I should honestly just write TL;DRs for everything.)
1. First month, yes
2. Yes
3. Around/within a monthish
4. Whatever you want ;3
5. *Jazzhands at the other mambo #5*
There is a very insistent voice in my head that wants me to have a Robber (former Sweeper) and a babby Dasher they sorta adopted because you can't just leave a kid to starve to death out in the wilderness. And since Sweepers have gems on their hands, well... Robber kind of has no hands. Darn Shooter what killed 'em dun took 'em. So when they need hands I was thinking they might... kinda magic their blood into hands. (I personally like the idea of Robbers, being undead, having thick, tar/syrup-like blood, sorta on the way to coalescing.) And the rest of the time be like "eh whatevs nothing wrong with stumps too much effort". >.> I am morbid, apparently. And I like the thought of a dragon that had their life gems stolen going off to hunt down the thieves because I WANT MY GEMS BACK DURN IT. While babysitting.
SO MANY IDEAS~
Also man I am a massive sucker for scary thing that's supposed to be the nightmare of legends taking care of precious bumpkin children. So cute ;~;
