Only one third of all artwork on here is porn. And there are kids using the site, you can register once you are 12 or so.

Rules that cant use boobs for icons

Well, not just because of boobs. Or actually.. yes. Because of the boobs showing, they are considered mature-ish.

And the rules now state that only content that is rated as "general" can be used for icons

And, I'm still looking into it! I hope I might be able to change something about the icons to make them appropriate, but I wanted to play it save and let everyone know that they better remove it for now.
But in both cases, wether they won't be accepted anymore or wether I can make them acceptable somehow, I'll try to let everyone know personally through a note.

The rules are pretty vague to me.. Some people recommended me to ask admins about my icons, but I haven't got an answer yet.

Nobody has said or sent anything to me...and as for "maturish" I don't see how. A lot of furs don't wear clothes and as long as nipples aren't showing, how is that bad? Can't tell you how many ass and pantie icons I see, and THOSE aren't mature. Maybe you could argue your case about it? Like...the only thing I could see if maybe removing pasties?  Akuva had the same issue with her berry boob icons..she was told, remove the berries and whip cream and the icon would be acceptable.

I don't see them as mature either, but I've had some commissioners tell me that their icon got removed by admins. The strange thing is that ALL of those icons didn't have the "x" pasties on them.

I must admit I was kind of fast stating that all of the boob icons are mature and aren't appropriate anymore.. seeing as the only icons that got removed were the ones without the pasties. After posting the journal I began to doubt about them really being inappropriate. But I didn't remove the journal, because I wanted to let my watchers now about this immediately so they won't get in trouble in case they were. And I can always make a new journal if it turns out that they are acceptable. (:

Now, there's a chance the "x" pasties version of the icon are acceptable (hopefullyyyy), so I right away went to ask a question on the FA Help and Support website.. but I haven't got an answer yet and it's been like 3 days now. -_-

The rules are so vague and it's strange that akuva's icons are OK without the berries and whipped cream and mines aren't. Like wat? D:

I'm honestly not sure where she went to ask. All I know is what she had said originally...but I'm sure you could always ask her. :3

But for icons to get banned...when there are so much worse for actual art pieces...yeah, there's an SFW button, but the pr0nz still get through.

I got informed that it's better to contact admins through Twitter. So I'm planning to do that!

The icon that was displayed was a bare display of the character's breasts, so it very clearly violated the rules.

Is what the admin said when i told them it wasn't breaking any rules. :s
