Commission Availability
Do to potential limitations and/or time constraints, the artist may not be able to accept all commissions. This is to ensure that all clients who commission work will be satisfied with the art they receive and help to preserve the artist's reputation.
If your commission is declined, the artist may or may not choose to let you know why they can not complete the work at this time. In some cases, the artist may offer a future date in which they may be better equipped to handle the commission or they may refer the client to another artist who is capable and available to create the work for them.
The artist creates SFW art only. Some exceptions may be made for mature content, but only if it is meant to be done in a tasteful way.
Accepting a commission
During the beginning phase of accepting a commission, the artist will work to gather reference material and create a simple sketch. The client will be placed in a commission slot, but is under no obligation during this time frame. Once the artist has completed the sketch, she will send a small, watermarked proof to the client to verify it is what they want.
If the client accepts the commission at this time, a project-specific contract will be drafted and sent to the client.Payment will be due in full prior to completing any further work on the piece and will serve as agreement to the terms a conditions outlined here and within the project specific contract.
**If special consideration is needed for financing, please contact the artist directly and she will determine the best course of action to cover both parties needs.**
Scheduling
All commissions should be done on a first come, first served basis. This is barring any delays from a client. At the time that the commission is accepted, the artist will inform the client of the expected timeline as well as an estimated and maximum deadline for completion of the piece. These scheduling details will be outlined in the project-specific contract sent to the client.
Payment
Currently the artist only accepts PayPal (prefurred) and Square Cash. Payment is due up front upon accepting the commission. Refunds will only be issued under 2 circumstances:
1) The artists fails to complete the work within the deadline. At this point, the client may request to cancel the commission and receive a full refund. The artist is not longer obligated to complete or post the work and the client forfeits all rights to any completed work.
2) For whatever reason, if the artist chooses to cancel the commission, they will issue the client a full refund. The artist is under no obligation to complete the work and may or may not give an explanation of the reason(s) why they must cancel the commission.
**If special consideration is needed for financing, please contact the artist directly and she will determine the best course of action to cover both parties needs.**
Failure to pay by the agreed upon date or for completed work that has been posted will result in the clients name being added to the artist's ban list as well as the client being reported to Artists Beware.
Review
Prior to posting the completed work via social media, the artist will send a low resolution proof to the client to verify that the work is accurate to their needs. Only small alterations will be accepted at this time (i.e. things like color discrepancies, adding small accessories or simple design to clothes, but no major structural changes to the body or complete change of wardrobe).
